SKIP-A-PAYMENT NOW OFFERED YEAR ROUND
Your credit union membership just got even better thanks to
our Skip-a-Pay option! Qualified borrowers now have the
opportunity to free-up extra cash by skipping a pre-designated
loan payment for just $25 per loan per month. A small cost for
a big boost to monthly cash flow for unexpected expenses or
other financial needs. Contact our loan department for specific
details at 800.749.9732 ext. 1002 or visit us online for the
Skip-a-Pay form.
Skip-A-Pay requests should be received at least five (5) business

eligible for the Skip-A-Pay program. Skip-A-Pay requests are
subject to approval. You must be current on all loans. You must be
a ‘member in good standing’ with no negative account balances.
Interest will accrue and repayment term will be extended. All
terms and conditions of the loan still apply. Loans with co-signers
will require both signatures on the Skip-A-Pay request form. Only
two (2) skipped payments are allowed on any loan in a single
calendar year. Mortgage loans, Home Equity loans, Home Improvement loans, Lot/Land loans, Mobile Home Loans, Merry Money

loans, Higher Education loans, Fresh Start Program loans, and loans
paid through the credit disability policy are excluded from the Skip-APayment program. A minimum of one (1) payment on a loan must be
made before that loan is eligible for a Skip-A-Payment deferment. If
you ‘skip’ November and December of a calendar year, then you must
make a payment in January of the next calendar year before you are
eligible for another ‘skip’ month.

TEXAS Federal Credit Union 6411 North Lamar Blvd. Austin,
Texas 78752 as soon as you can. Call or write us if you think an
electronic transfer or transaction appearing on your statement or on
a receipt is incorrect or if you need more information about a transfer or transaction listed on your statement or receipt. We must hear
from you no later than 60 days after we sent the FIRST statement on
which the transfer or transaction appeared. When calling or writing,
please follow these three steps:
If we need more time, however, we may take up to 45 days to
investigate your claim. If we decide to use more than 10 business
days to conduct our investigation, we will credit your account
provisionally on the 10th business day (or earlier) for the amount
you are questioning. You will have full use of those funds during
the course of our investigation. If we ask you to put your claim or
question in writing or we ask you to complete a formal written
claim on our standard forms and we do not receive it within 10
business days, we will still conduct an investigation but we may
not provisionally credit your account.
(1) Tell us your name and member number.
(2) Describe the transaction or transfer and explain as clearly
as you can why you believe it is incorrect or why you
need more information.
(3) Tell us the dollar amount of the transaction or transfer.

foreign-initiated transactions, we may take up to 90 days to investigate your claim. For new accounts, we may take up to 20
business days to provisionally credit your account for the amount
you are questioning.
If you tell us orally, we may require that you send us your claim or
question in writing within 10 business days. We may also require a
formal written claim on our standard forms to be completed and
submitted to us within 10 business days.
We will notify you of the results within three business days after
completing our investigation. If we determine that an error
occurred, any provisional credit will become permanent. If we
determine that no error occurred, we will send you a written
explanation and retract any provisional credit in 5 business days.
You may ask for copies of any documents we use in our investigation.
We will determine if an error occurred within 10 business days after

PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE
Experience International Credit Union Day at GTFCU
On October 15, 2015, credit union members around the world will
celebrate International Credit Union Day®, an annual event to
commemorate the credit union movement’s impact and achievements. In honor of this special day, GTFCU/ACU invites our members to stop by your local branch on October 15, 2015 to celebrate
International Credit Union Day® with light refreshments.
"'People helping people' has always been central to credit
unions' existence," said Brian Branch, World Council
President/CEO. "This timeless concept resonates well with all
generations, especially young adults who strongly value socially
responsible organizations that put people before profit."
"Every day credit unions make an incredible difference in the
lives of their members," said Jim Nussle, CUNA President/CEO.
"ICU Day celebrates the power of our movement, our dedication to the cooperative principles, and commitment to serve
the best interests of the more than 100 million credit union
members in the United States."
Those familiar words, "People Helping People," are ingrained in
credit union speak and characterize many cooperative principles.
We hope you’ll join us in the celebration!
