We are always in need of almost all types of U.S. & Foreign
coins & currency. As you can see from our catalogs, we
offer a diverse line of material so we can pay you a fair
price for everything rather than just cherry picking the
cream of your holdings. Call us at 1-800-638-8869 and talk

Maryland offices, discuss shipping your holdings for a fast

PARTY GRADED COINS & CURRENCY
The coin market is speculative and unregulated. Many areas of
numismatics lend themselves to third party grading and authentication. Such certification does not eliminate all risks associated with
the grading of coins and currency. Grading is a subjective matter
and opinions as to the grade of a certified or uncertified item can
differ. Items graded by the various services carry the guarantees,
if any, of that particular service. Securing performance on any such
guarantee is strictly between the purchaser and the particular grading
service. Coast to Coast may or may not agree with the grade
assigned by the particular grading service. Buyer should be aware
that grading standards of coins have changed from time to time in
the past and may do so again in the future.

IS GIVEN EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.

Chalmers
Silver Shilling
Barber
Quarter
PCGS. XF-40 CAC
Struck by Annapolis, MD silversmith, John Chalmers. He also made threepence and sixpence
to provide much needed change for commerce to replace the
Spanish ‘bits’ that circulated in the Maryland colony. This shilling
is beautiful and far better than the typical survivor of this rare
issue. The surfaces are a pleasing pewter-gray and the detail
is excellent.
NGC. VG-10
A very attractive example of this rare date with nice steelgray surfaces and excellent detail including all the letters
of LIBERTY which show. This is a coin that we submitted
to NGC expecting it to grade Fine-12. It’s that nice!

Large 6. Stems.
NGC. MS-66+ DMPL
This is one of our favorite dates. Only 228,000 were minted, but
most of the survivors are nice as they were in the GSA hoard of
the 1970’s. Even so; this amazing coin is truly special. It’s blast
white with incredibly deep mirrored surfaces and fantastic frost
on the devices. The resulting cameo contrast coupled with virtually mark-free surfaces, gives this coin spectacular eye appeal.
This is the only 66+ DMPL graded by NGC with none higher.
Shimmering mint luster with a
generous amount of mint red cascades off this beautiful
early copper. The overall strike is quite strong although
there is some softness on the reverse at 12 o’clock.
The overall quality is exceptional for the grade and
the eye appeal is fantastic!

Small Eagle Reverse
PCGS. MS-66 Red
PCGS. Fine-15
With a small production of just 484,000 coins, this is one
of the most well known and popular rarities in American
Numismatics. This example is amazing with beautiful
blazing red luster and no significant abrasions. The strike
is superb and the eye appeal is just fantastic!
Our favorite purchase over the last month was this wonderful
first year U.S. Quarter. It’s a one year Small Eagle type and only
6,146 coins were minted. This coin is superb for the grade
with pleasing pewter-gray devices and a deeper blueish-gray
patina in the fields.

1854. PCGS. MS-65. RB. CAC approved.
Very flashy mint luster gives this beauty
exceptional eye appeal. The obverse is
about 50% red while the reverse is nearly
full red. Both sides are extremely well
struck and are nearly mark-free. Only a
single Red & Brown coin graded higher at
PCGS.. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #206734 $2795.00

1857. PCGS. PR-64. BN. CAC approved.
Beautiful deep mirror surfaces and a great
strike. The color is an iridescent brown with
hues of marine-blue and lavender with small
flashes of red between Ms. Liberty’s locks of
hair. Approximately 250 minted and only 2
‘Brown’ and 2 ‘Red and Brown’ coins have
graded higher at PCGS. No ‘Red’ coins are
known to exist. This is a fantastic collector
coin! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #206330 $7495.00
Large Cents
1793. PCGS. F-15. Chain. America. S-3. A very
attractive example of this first year Large Cent.
Strong head detail and a sharp date and
LIBERTY on the obverse. The chain, ONE
CENT, 1/100, and the legend are all bold
on the reverse. The planchet is an attractive
medium brown and superb for the grade with
only very minor granularity and a couple of
very minor edge dings. Clearly, well above
average for the grade & an exciting example
of this American Classic! . #206352 $25950.00
1794. PCGS. XF-40. Head of 1794. S-44.
This variety is easily distinguished by a
dramatic die break on the reverse that
starts at the rim at 1 o’clock and runs
to the N in ONE. The obverse has a
distinctive break thru the 17 of the date
and into the rim. This example is well
detailed with nice medium brown color
and excellent overall eye appeal.

Walking Liberty Half Dollars

With a mintage of 491,600; only 1921 and 1921-D have a lower mintage in the
entire Walking Liberty series. We were fortunate to locate four beautiful examples
of this very scarce date. They’re nearly identical in that they have gorgeous frosty
mint luster and excellent strikes. They have the ‘fresh’ original look of coins that
spent their lives in an original roll! These are really special coins and well worth
your consideration if you need a premium quality Gem for your collection!
