There are 5 levels of general sl<ating skills that participants will learn. Once completed participants
rryill be able to competently skate as a generaI session skater, Should yor.r rvish to progness further
you €sn rnake sketing yoLrr sport & choose to learn skills from tire skating disciplines of Artistic,
Roller Derby, Hockey or Speed.

Code of Behaviour
The Club expects all Skaters, Coaches and Parents to abide by the acceptable behaviour detailed
below, to abide by the Skate Australia, Gawler Sports & Community Centre Code of conduct &
support all the Policy's at all times. This Policy applies to behaviour during training and at
competitions.
1. Comfortable form fitting training attire to be worn to training sessions
to competition and demos (Artistic Skaters)

2. Skaters' must follow their coach's instructions during training sessions
3. Skaters to encourage other skaters with positive comments (especially the younger skaters)
4. Experienced skaters to be aware of younger skaters on the floor
7. Skaters involved in a lesson and practising routines to music have the right of way on the
floor. (Artistic Skaters)
8. Everyone should leave the Stadium the way they found it and dispose of any rubbish prior to
leaving
9. Skates to be removed prior to leaving the Stadium
10. Behave in a way that does not offend other people and be aware of the younger skaters,
parents and spectators

Appropriate behaviour and language should be used towards Staff and members of the
public
12. The Club promotes a drug and smoke free environment
