Find out what it was really like below stairs at Highclere
Castle, the real Downton Abbey, early in the 20th century.
Could a chauffeur really marry a daughter of an Earl? Would a
maid help move a dead body to protect her mistress’ reputation?
Historian Kathy Wilson will share these answers in this
“reality vs. tv” presentation.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Oelwein Public Library.
