All India Shri Shivaji Memorial
Society, established in 1917, is a well
known institution in India in the field
of education. The society started its
first College of Engineering in 1992
and at present runs two colleges of
Engineering and one Polytechnic in its
campus near Pune Railway station.
Our College approved by
A.I.C.T.E. and Government of
Maharashtra and affiliated to
Savitribai Phule Pune University, runs
Engineering Degree programmes in the
branches of Computer Engineering,
Information Technology, Electrical
Engineering, Electronics Engineering,
Electronics and Telecommunications
and Instrumentation leading to the
degree of B.E. of Savitribai Phule
Pune University.
The annual, cultural, technical and sports festAlacrity, with its inception in the year 2010, has truly
become a pan India national student fest organized by
AISSMS’s Institute of Information Technology, Pune.
Across a span of four days, the fest provides
students from junior colleges, under-graduate and postgraduate colleges a chance to participate and explore.
Alacrity 2016 will be entering its eighth year and
after the splendid response of around 13,000 footfalls last
year, we are expecting to target more institutes across
India.
With increasing popularity and immensely growing
participation, Alacrity aims at being one of the premier
fests of the country, providing an enlivening and treasured
experience for all.
