“He’s been perfect since Kempton and we were pleased with the
run given there was no speed early in the race.
“Seismos also goes to the Caulfield Cup and Melbourne Cup.
Since he went to Marco’s, typically of what Marco is able to do with
these type of horses, he’s put on some condition and he’s probably
racing as well as he ever has. We’re excited to get him out here.
“Guest Of Honour has not run since June but he’s in good form.
He will go for the Toorak on 11 October and then, if all goes to plan,
he’ll go to the Cox Plate.”
Dandino is at $21 in Caulfield and Melbourne Cup betting, with
Seismos at $31 for the Caulfield Cup and $35 for the Melbourne
Cup.
Trainer David Payne was yesterday in Newmarket having his first

form over the summer includes a victory over the likes of Seismos
and Brown Panther (Shirocco) in the Prix Maurice de Nieuil (Gr 2,

The four-year-old was disappointing, however, in Sunday’s

we will just keep him in work and have another look.”

“Perhaps the surprising one is that we are not putting Gatewood
