In June of 2015, Daly XXL Communications, LLC, purchased the Heritage Station 1510 WMEX and committed to
provide New England with the most compelling, entertaining and thought-provoking conversations on talk radio.
Content throughout the day provides coverage of top local, national, and global news, discussion of lifestyle and
community issues and the delivery of commentary that embraces the values of our listeners.
With a 50,000 watt power-house signal, 1510 WMEX has attracted some of the most well-known and wellrespected voices in New England broadcast. Morning drive includes the troupe-comedy program “Renegade
Radio,” followed by Emmy-award winning journalist Joe Shortsleeve. Renowned radio personality Sandy Shack
takes the helm mid-day followed by author, ABC correspondent and radio icon Michele McPhee in PM drive time.
Evenings are devoted to national political talk and commentary with The Capitol Hill Show hosted by Tim
Constantine. As a service to the large population of shift employees in the region, 1510 WMEX offers “The Night
Shift” beginning at 10PM with Michael Savage and The Savage Nation followed by the best of the day’s content
from Renegade Radio, The Joe Shortsleeve Show, The Sandy Shack Show, and The Michele McPhee Show
throughout the overnight hours, assuring top-quality programming around the clock.
In homage to the original WMEX, the days of Arnie “Woo-Woo” Ginsburg are recreated each Saturday evening,
with classic oldies, and the original WMEX jingles of the 60s.

Hosted by John Pica and Bryan Berner, Renegade Radio is an AM Dive show with a
comedic take on local, regional and national news. This is not your average ‘shock-jock’

is one of the most respected and well-known personalities in New England, bringing a wealth of
high-profile contacts to the show throughout the political, corporate, philanthropic and lawenforcement industries.
Frequent co-host Diane McNamara is known for her work as a radio host, political strategist and TV
commentator. She is also the owner of Fire it Up, PR, a Boston-based communications firm
specializing in entertainment and lifestyle brands including the top Olympic athletes, NBC Universal,
Pixar, Disney, Scripps Network, countless TV and movie projects and a wide net of celebrities in
theater, film and comedy.
Sandy Shack is an award winning broadcaster with over 20 years of experience in New
England and national markets.
Sandy is a graduate from Boston College Law School with a Juris Doctorate and
background in economics. Sandy began her broadcasting career in the legal wing of
WRKO’s ownership where she was quickly drafted by the programming department of the
company's Boston station. Sandy quickly learned the art of producing with the Boston
Celtics, Boston Red Sox and legal advice shows culminating with the two National Radio
Hall of Fame inducted shows: The Jerry Williams Show and The Howie Carr Show.
