THE GIRLFRIEND GAME
SYNOPSIS
An erotic thriller about a twisted game a couple plays at bars,
until one night, things go out of hand. The story takes us onto a
nightmarish, psychosexual journey, and gradually, the true nature
of their relationship comes to light.

ARMEN ANTRANIKIAN DIRECTOR
NICK ANTOSCA WRITER
Armen is a recent graduate of the USC School of
Cinematic Arts, where he received the Jack
Nicholson Award and John Huston Award for
Directing. Armen grew up in Germany, and lived in
London for five years, where he studied at the
University of the Arts London. He was selected by
the BFI London Film Festival for their acclaimed
development program, and featured by MOVIESCOPE as
a 'Director to Watch’. He is currently working on
his first feature film, a character-driven
psychological thriller.
Nick Antosca is a prolific novelist, screenwriter,
and journalist from New Orleans. He is a coproducer on NBC's HANNIBAL and previously wrote for
TEEN WOLF, LAST RESORT, and BELIEVE. He is the
author of the novel FIRES and the short story
collection THE GIRLFRIEND GAME, and received a
Shirley Jackson Award for his novella Midnight
Picnic. Antosca has written for n+1, The Paris
Review, The New York Sun, Nerve, and Hustler. He
is currently developing a show with Starz, produced
by Steven Spielberg's Amblin TV.

CHRISTINE MELTON PRODUCER
ALEJANDRO DE LEON PRODUCER
Christine attended the University of Nevada Las
Vegas and received a BA in Fine Arts. Shortly
after, she moved to Los Angeles to study producing
at the American Film Institute. During and since,
she's written and produced numerous short films,
music videos and commercial spots. Currently, she's
working to jump start her first feature film.
Alejandro graduated AFI in 2010, and has produced
and line-produced over 12 shorts films, including
THE STRANGE THING ABOUT THE JOHNSONS and MUNCHAUSEN
(both written and directed by Ari Aster) which were
official selections in the New York Film Festival,
Fantastic Fest and Slamdance. He has also line
produced two Student Academy Award winners: THIEF
(Gold-2011) and NARCOCORRIDO (Silver-2012). He is a
co-producer on the film ELECTRICK CHILDREN as well
as BIG SIGNIFICANT THINGS, and also an Executive
Producer on NIGHT MOVES (Kelly Reichardt).

CHRISTIAN SPRENGER CINEMATOGRAPHER
CALLIE ANDREADIS PRODUCTION DESIGNER
Christian made a name for himself working in music
videos for various artists, including The Black
Keys, Tenacious D and Flying Lotus. Specializing in
narrative, dark/alternative comedy and VFX work,
Christian photographed the short film GREGORY GO
BOOM which won the Short Film Jury Prize for US
Fiction at Sundance in 2014. In addition to two
pilots for FX with director Jon Krisel, MAN
SEEKING WOMAN and BASKETS, starring Zach
Galifianakis, Christian recently began production
on LAST MAN ON EARTH for Fox.
Callie is a production designer based in Los
Angeles. After attending AFI, her thesis film
NARCOCORRIDO was awarded silver at the 39th Student
Academy Awards and since then she has worked on a
number of films, music videos and commercials. Her
work as a designer integrates her sensibilities as
a painter and her love of film and storytelling.
Keen on composition, texture and color her focus
remains on narrative and creating the visuals to
best serve each story.

NOAH KISTLER EDITOR
DANIEL HART COMPOSER
Noah Kistler is an editor/director raised on the
East Coast, now living in Los Angeles. He has
edited over seventy feature film trailers and
television spots for companies including Sony
Pictures Classics, IFC Films, Magnolia Pictures,
Paramount Pictures, Relativity Media, Music Box
Films, Tribeca Films and others. His music videos
have premiered on the websites for SPIN and Impose
Magazine. He is currently finishing his MFA thesis
at USC's School of Cinematic Arts. He also has a
BA in philosophy from Wesleyan University.
Daniel Hart is a composer and performer based in
Dallas, Texas. His score for last year's AIN'T THEM
BODIES SAINTS garnered wide critical acclaim, with
Indiewire listing him as one of their "Top 5
Composers to Look Out For" and Filmmaker Magazine's
honoring him as one of the "25 New Faces of
Independent Film". With his band, Dark Rooms,
Daniel has toured the US, Europe and Asia for the
last several years, performing brooding,
experimental dance music, reminiscent of that heard
in THE GIRLFRIEND GAME.

Jeff graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts,
studying at the Stella Adler Studio and the
Experimental Theater Wing. He recently starred in
Jordan Harrison’s MARJORIE PRIME at the Mark Taper
Forum alongside Lois Smith. He made his Broadway
debut understudying Ben Foster in Orphans starring
Alec Baldwin. New York Theatre: THE CHIMES (The
Public/SPF), THAT FACE (MTC), MOMENTS (Dir. Moises
Kaufman), SEX GOOD; MONEY BAD (Michael Weller),
RICHARD III (CSV), GALILEO (Skirball Center), THE
PILLOWMAN, and LOVES LABORS LOST.
Sophie has won the Jonathan Levy Award at Harvard
University, and her most recent credits include THE
MENTALIST, FRANKLIN & BASH, NEW GIRL, CRIMINAL
MINDS, MALIBU HORROR STORY (Scott Slone), RAMPART
(Oren Moverman), MARIA MY LOVE (Jasmine McGlade),
THE DOORS (Ayako Fujitani), SORBET PERPLEX (Parker
Winship). She has worked with notable theaters such
as Lincoln Center Theater, Williamstown Theatre
Festival, Atlantic Theater Company, and The Blank
Theatre. Next up, she's starring in 'Black List'
thriller, MANUSCRIPT (Heath Cullens).

RYAN EGGOLD MILES
SARAH ROEMER CLEMENTINE
Ryan is known for his roles as Ryan Matthews on the
CW teen drama series 90210 and as Tom Keen on the
NBC crime drama series THE BLACKLIST. In addition
to his work in television, Ryan made his
professional stage debut in the acclaimed 2006
Ahmanson Theatre/Center Theatre Group production
DEAD END, directed by Nick Martin, and has since
appeared in productions of Leipzig, and the L.A.
Weekly Award-winning production of Marat/Sade.
American actress and model Sarah Roemer is known
for DISTURBIA (2007) and HE GRUDGE 2 (2006). She
later co-starred with Joseph Cross in FALLING UP
(2009). She was the leading actress in David R.
Ellis' ASYLYM (2008), Katherine Brooks' WAKING
MADISON (2010) and in FIRED UP! (2009). She costarred with Golden Globe winner Richard Gere and
three-time Oscar nominee Joan Allen in HACHI: A
DOG’S TALE (2009). Most recently she's worked in TV
starring shows such as THE EVENT and CHOSEN.

SPENCER TREAT CLARK EDDIE
CHRISTOPHER ABBOT HENRY
Spencer Treat Clark was born in New York City. His
film debut was in ARLINGTON ROAS as Grant Faraday
and since then has acted in several notable
films including GLADIATOR, MYSTIC RIVER,
UNBREAKABLE, THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT, MUCH ADO
ABOUT NOTHING, THE LAST EXORCISM PART II and the
remake of THE TOWN THAT DREADED SUNDOWN. Clark
graduated from Columbia University in New York City
and is currently living in Los Angeles.
Abbot was raised in Greenwich, Connecticut, and
attended Norwalk Community College. He is best
known for such films and television series as HBO’s
GIRLS, MARTHA MARCY MAY MARLENE and HELLO I MUST BE
GOING. He's currently finished shooting two
features, CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES (dir. Jackie Earle
Haley) and A MOST VIOLENT YEAR (dir. J.C. Chandor),
be released this fall.
