I Play Games! was founded in 2009 by experienced
video game promoter, and tournament organizer

friends and family was a favorite hobby for Kevin,
and so bringing the joy of video game entertainment
to greater video game community was a natural fit. Since 2009 I Play Games! has
branched out into to several different areas growing their brand and presence in
the video gaming community, with charitable events, group trips across the
country, and supporting media blogs and gaming discussion shows. http://

Once again, EvilleCon is bringing you its epic Cosplay Contest… and
this year it is EVEN MORE EPIC!! Everyone is welcome in the Cosplay

Ox King’s Cosplay Chess – Robert Grimwood
Ox King has seen many battles over the years. He has seen heroes
and villains rise and fall. Ox King enjoys watching the battles but not
the death. So instead, each year at EvilleCon Ox King summons
heroes and villains to fight in an epic battle of chess. Magic, traps,
and surprises happen each year. So choose a side and join the Ox
King and his guests in a game of chess unlike any other. Knowledge
of the game of chess is not needed to play Ox King's Cosplay Chess.
Otaku Karaoke – Jenn Martin
Belt out the lyrics to your favorite nerdy songs for all your friends to
hear, impress others with your ability to sing in a foreign language, or
have fun destroying the lyrics to popular nerdy songs. All are
welcome in Otaku Karaoke! (Warning: EvilleCon is not responsible for
how awesome and or bad you happen to be; hecklers will be ejected
from the Karaoke experience.)
EvilleCon Ani-Mystery – Brent Johnson
Comb through the evidence and crack the case with a team of
sleuths. Analyze anime character witness interviews. Find the culprit

their real intentions lie. With the Black Reaper on the loose and
Richard Moore in the grave, there’s no telling who’s next.
Pokemon ORAS Battle Royale – EvilleCon’s Gym – Allen Hatton
Calling all trainers! Come test your Pokemon battling skills at
Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire (ORAS) for the Nintendo 3Ds

off against the Elite Four, and ultimately come face-to-face with
EvilleCon’s Pokemon Champion!
Death Note Mafia – Magen Melton

an “investigator.” Each “night” the Kiras pick a player to kill and each
“day” the investigators, with the help of some other special roles, try

Kiras are dead or there are less than 2 investigators left. Candy will
be awarded ^_^.

Cranium is a board game of knowledge and creativity, and in this

Twitter, Micah works as a freelance artist. He is currently the

deviantART under the username “maioceaneyes”. Believe it.
Ayu Sakata writes stuff, and then people read it. Usually in
that order. As head of the visual novel group sakevisual, she's
written the award-winning Jisei murder mystery games, and
the otome romance Backstage Pass. She also writes the comic
Ties That Bind, which is full of fantasy, fighting, and great hair.
Outside of the writing world, you can hear her voice in video
games and anime including Fairy Tail (Laki), Robotics;Notes
(Airi), A Certain Scientific Railgun S (Kinuhata), A Hat in Time
(Hat Kid), and Smite (Ninja Nemesis). She keeps a 4-panel
comic about her voice acting life called "My Picture Journal"
which you can read at facebook.com/ayuvoice.

Cosplayer
Carl Martin grew up loving cartoons, anime, videogames,
movies, and many any other platforms which all fed into a
love for cosplay. Carl and some friends eventually created
Shinka Studios and went to conventions to compete and build
a repertoire of costumes. Over the years Shinka Studios has
been a part of many conventions, won multiple awards, has
been featured in Game Informer and Cosplay in America, has
announced and judged at conventions and has been a part of
Scyfy's show Heroes of Cosplay. At many times Carl and his
studio do unorthodox cosplays or challenging characters in an attempt to bring them
to life, learn new skills, and inspire others. Shinka has two goals: "make others happy,"
and "overall improve the community."

EvilleCon 2015
Survival Guide
EvilleCon Staff want you to have the best time of your life at EvilleCon 2015, but here is a Survival Guide with reminders on
how to make sure you do so safely!
•
•
Obey all convention rules.
•
Always have a buddy and stick with them. Never go off alone with someone you do not know without telling someone
first.
•
Always have a way to contact every individual in your party. Exchange cell phones numbers or work out an
alternative plan for those without a phone!
•
•
Review the Program and Schedule and mark the EvilleCon Events and panels that you would like to attend.
•
Pay attention to your surroundings – if people are trying to walk past, step aside and allow others to go through. If
you want to stop and pose for a picture, get out of the main thoroughfare so that others can get through.
•
End con funk now! Stay clean, take showers, wear deodorant, and change your clothes. It is a good idea to keep
deodorant on you to reapply throughout the day.
•
When at your home/hotel, always remove your make up. The make up is not good for your skin. It can also come off
at night and ruin your bed sheets or the hotel’s bed sheets (and you do not want to have to buy new sheets at the
hotel!).
•
•
•
Get plenty of sleep.
Bring survival supplies – ID, extra money, water and drinks, snacks, medications, camera, phone charger, personal
hygiene supplies, and other personal necessities. If you are in cosplay, also bring safety pins, fabric glue, and scissors.
Be respectful of everyone at the convention. Cosplay DOES NOT equal consent. Do not assume that it is okay to
touch or harass someone because of their costume. Always obtain consent before doing anything to another person.
Harassment and rude behavior will not be tolerated at EvilleCon.
BE SAFE AND SMART! EvilleCon is meant to be fun but do not do anything that will get you or others hurt.
When in doubt, ask an EvilleCon Staff Member or head to the Registration table!
Featured Panelists
The Abusement Park is a panelist group based out of Louisville, Kentucky that specializes in
the wackiest of the insane. They frequently delve into "that part of the internet" to find the
latest that hentai, fanfiction, and disturbing game shows have to offer. The Abusement Park
is known for their lively and fun events, often stretching the limits of reality and heavily
encouraging audience interaction. They promise a good time to all attendees and are always
happy to chat following their events! You can usually find them during the late-night
programming time slots, but they can sometimes be spotted performing day events...if they
are awake! They do like their sleep, and shoving their faces full of food!
Indra, aka Lord of the Machine, has run over 100 panels in his time and doesn't plan to stop any
time soon. What started out as a small informative panel to spread the word of one of his
favorite anime, Berserk, turned into a love and want to keep running bigger and better panels.
Information, game boards, crazy videos, and a healthy dose of comedy can be found in most of
his work. This year will debut some new panels such as The Midnight Lunch Hour, cohosted by
Devin "Senpai" Preston, and Yaoi Manga 101. Never settling for your run of the mill style panel,
Indra likes to make sure audiences are entertained and involved as much as possible.
Long ago, in a distant land, an idea sprang forth; an idea that changed Chris McLain’s view of
conventions forever. And that idea was: "Why not do a panel or something?!" Since then, Chris has
run countless panels of topics varying all over the nerd spectrum. Today, however, he runs 4 main
panels: The Timey Wimey Doctor Who Experience, Za Warudo of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, It's Almost
Midnight: A Persona Panel, and Manly Screaming Mecha Pilots. Come check out his panels and see
why they are awesome!

You may be subject to voluntary search upon entry to the convention and at any time during the convention. If a staff member suspects that an individual is refusing

Any attendee damaging or defacing EvilleCon property may be liable for repair or replacement of said property and immediate ejection from the convention.
Disabled persons, EvilleCon Staff, on-duty Volunteers, special guests, and vendors are not required to stand in line for entry into any Event Room. If you have any questions,
please contact convention staff.
EvilleCon has a zero-tolerance policy toward theft. Shoplifters will be reported to local authorities, prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and banned from EvilleCon for
five consecutive years.
Attendees must follow any and all directions given by EvilleCon Staff and Volunteers or convention venue security and employees. Anyone refusing to follow such directions
is subject to immediate removal from the convention.
If you have any problems, questions, or concerns, please contact an EvilleCon Staff Member or Volunteer. They will be recognizable by their distinctive shirts or badges and

convention will be reported to the proper authorities.
EvilleCon prohibits the consumption of alcohol in public areas in use by the convention. Follow all convention center and hotel guidelines regarding consumption of alcohol in
shared public areas.
If convention staff suspects an attendee under the age of 21 to be drinking or intoxicated, a staff member will contact the proper authorities. EvilleCon DOES NOT authorize,

There are typically multiple chances throughout the convention to get autographs throughout the weekend, so there should be other opportunities.

A Guest’s approval must be received before a photograph may be taken with a guest.
