COURSE OVERVIEW
Building on the foundation of the two-day CSA Z662 Essentials course this one day
seminar is designed specifically for directors, managers, design engineers and project
planning staff involved in the development and execution of Pipeline Construction
projects in Canada. Particular focus will be on the practical application of the new
section 3, relating to management of pipeline design and materials procurement. It will
also cover the Safety and Loss Management requirements in the design and material
selection process.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
• Prior training strongly suggested:
3 day - CSA Z662 Pipeline Systems or
2 day - CSA Z662 Pipeline Essentials
• Understand Section 3 and the application of Annex A in the Safety and Loss
management systems.
• Understand Integrity Management issues relating to Design and Materials
procurement.
• Understand the application of Design and Material documentation requirements.
• Understand record requirements and competency tractability issues.
