Georgia Basketry Association
Annual Convention
February 5—7, 2016
Hilton Hotel and Conference Center
Marietta, GA
888-685-2500
We are proud to share our wonderful invitation to Baskets with Friends 2016
convention brochure. We are certain that you’ll agree that your committee has lined
up a dynamic group of teachers and wonderful selection of baskets.
For the second year in a row, you are invited to join us at the Hilton Atlanta Marietta
Hotel & Conference Center in historic Marietta. This year, we will enjoy the use of the
entire lower convention level. In addition, we’ll provide a complimentary snack Friday
night, and Saturday features a complimentary lunch that you can enjoy in the dining room
overlooking the golf course.
We hope that you will consider inviting a friend to the convention too. If you bring a first time
GBA convention attendee, you will have your dues paid in 2017 by GBA. We hope that you will
join us and consider donating a raffle item or door prize. Also, please bring a small basket
ornament for the basket Christmas tree. Annually, we donate $1 to the American Cancer Society
for every raffle ticket entered for the tree. We look forward to seeing you in February!
