Come ramble with Josh
McIntosh and Jason Lynn.
Joshua "Tree" McIntosh
was named after the
magical place where his
parents played in the desert
as teenagers. As a young
man, Josh dove into the
music scene fronting the
acoustic rock jam outfit
Blew Willie and delivered
over a thousand
performances all over the
west. Quickly recognized for
improvisational skills as a
guitarist and powerful soul
dripped vocals, McIntosh
and Blew Willie established
their own presence in the
scene with appearances on
Blues Travelers H.O.R.D.E.
Fest, High Sierra, and at
premier west coast venues
such as House of Blues LA,
Great American Music Hall
and Slims SF. With AAA
radio support from stations
like San Francisco's KFOG
and reviews from jam scene
magazines including Relix,
the SF Bay Area embraced
Blew Willie and its 3 hour
dance parties and quality
song writing. Josh is
currently preparing to
record his next offering
"Rattlesnakes in the
Garden".
Hot House Blues
with Tia Carroll
and Hard Work,
September 23
This band is rightfully called
Hard Work. They sizzle and
take the audience on the
ride right along with them.
Sporting two fine guitar
players and sometimes
even a Conga player, this is
a must see band. Even
when they have stripped it
down to bass, drums, guitar
and vocals, you will still feel
the power that Hard Work
delivers.
Free Family Day takes place on
the 3rd Saturday of each month,
so be sure to attend and view
glimpses of Vallejo's history
