Deschutes River: Class III+
White Salmon River: Class III-IV
Clackamas River: Class III-IV
Sunshine and warm weather fans, this one’s for you. Join us
on Oregon’s most popular river trip: the Deschutes! Beginners,
experienced rafters, and river rats of all ages and abilities
love this trip. Fun, playful rapids alternate with blue-green
flatwater, perfect for a quick cooling swim in the desert heat.
Close enough to Portland for a half-day trip, the Deschutes has
enough miles for full-day adventures and multi-day journeys.
Let us know your ideal trip. We’ll make it happen!
Three words for the White Salmon: Ultimate. Northwest. River. Rapid
after rapid rushes through this gorgeous, lushly vegetated and
officially protected wild and scenic gorge. Lower-flow summer
trips start at an exclusive upper launch adding several additional
rapids and conclude with an optional ride over legendary Husum
Falls. We’ll portage the finicky falls on spring high water trips and
splash down the Lower White Salmon and the first 1/2 mile of the
newly free-flowing Lower-Lower White Salmon. Look closely, and
you’ll spot the first salmon to call the river home in 100 years.
Come for high flow and low flow and experience it all!
The Clackamas River is gorgeous: A stunning old-growth forest
canyon confines the river, forcing the crystal clear water
to tumble downstream in oversized waves, drops and long
rapids. Oregon rivers don’t get much better than this! You’ll
feel like you’re in the wilderness while you’re on the river, but
the Clackamas is close enough to Portland for you to make
this a regular day trip. We’ve been rafting the Clackamas
since 1979. Let us share this remarkable river with you!

Wind River: Class IV-V
Owyhee River: Class II-IV+
Do large drops, boulder gardens and continuous whitewater sound
like your cup of tea? How about the camaraderie of scouting,
portaging and paddling difficult rapids as a team? Yes? The
Wind River is for you! Expect constant challenges and a continual
adrenaline rush on the Northwest’s most intense and relentless
stretch of commercially run whitewater. This demanding trip is for
physically fit adults with previous Class IV paddling experience.
Best water flows are in April and May. Don’t miss this epic trip!
Got time in the spring? Come see the “Grand Canyon of Oregon” the Owyhee River. This remote, beautiful canyon wanders through
some of the most stunning scenery in the country. Lofty canyon
walls, geologic wonders, hot springs, and numerous rapids will
inspire, intrigue, and exhilarate you on this multi-day adventure.
Sandy Gorge: Class IV+
Portland’s backyard has a secret: The Sandy Gorge. Monstersized, moss-covered mountains of rock constrict the Sandy into
big, boiling boulder fields of whitewater. Rainforest-like scenery
completes the picture of this hidden, close-to-town gem. The
Sandy is incredible, and the secret is out. Here’s the catch: it’s
only runnable for a short time each year! Miss the early spring
snowmelt, and you’re waiting a year. Plan early, and sign up now!
Klickitat River: Class III+
Tucked into a stunning wild valley, the Klickitat is a wilderness
journey close to the Gorge. You’ll see deer, hawks and eagles at
home in this striking basalt-towered canyon that winds from the
deep green of old-growth forest to the yellowed grass of the arid
desert. Tucked away in this canyon are plenty of great rapids,
including the Class III+ Magic Mile of continuous whitewater.
Join us for a springtime float down this must-see hidden corner
of Washington.

North Santiam: Class II-III
When other rivers run dry, the North Santiam perseveres. We’ll
run it late into October. Fall foliage makes this late-season trip a
photographer’s dream. But hang tight to that waterproof camera,
because there are plenty of rapids tucked away in this scenic valley!
