The New Generation i30 raises the bar for small premium
vehicles by redefining the concept of small car motoring.
Building on the impressive multi award-winning achievements
of its predecessor, the new i30 embraces Hyundai’s New
Thinking New Possibilities philosophy, which sets higher
standards of design, build quality and performance for each
new model release. As with all Hyundai passenger vehicles,
precision engineering and cutting edge technologies have
been combined to ensure the i30 is the leader in its class.
The i30’s improvements begin with its sleek athletic looks,
which have been achieved by the German design team
drawing on Hyundai’s signature ‘fluidic sculpture’ language
to create an exciting new sporty dynamic. Next, there’s the
commitment to quality that begins with the use of hightensile strength steel (made using Australian materials), and
continues through to the attention paid to every last detail.
The i30 is also packed with all the smart stuff that makes
every journey a fun and relaxing experience, reinforcing
Hyundai’s reputation for delivering the highest level of

efficiency. This trio, which underscored many of the awards

designed by a handpicked team at the Hyundai
Motor europe Technical Centre in Rüsselsheim,
germany, the New generation i30’s sporty and
dynamic styling is simply eye-catching. The flow of
character lines creates a play of light and shadow,
and generates a sense of constant movement.
The hexagonal grille together with the distinctive
wraparound headlamps, which are linked in one
smooth flowing line to the rear combination lamps,
adds to the unmistakably sleek and assertive
‘ready to take you anywhere’ appearance. Highquality touches such as alloy wheels on the elite
and Premium variants as well as a wide
twin-panel panoramic sunroof (Premium
only) add extra finesse and reinforce the
concept of a luxury small car.

The twin-panel roof offers true open-air driving fun. At the touch of a button, the front panel opens
and a wind deflector activates for passenger comfort.
Hexagonal grille
The signature hexagonal grille completes the i30’s bold front profile. on the Active the grille matches
the vehicle’s body colour, while on the elite and Premium it is finished in dark chrome.
HID Headlamps (Premium)
The projector-like illumination of the High Intensity discharge (HId) headlamps casts a significantly
brighter and longer light beam. The headlamps also feature automatic levelling to reduce the glare
that can distract oncoming drivers.

The rear spoiler adds a sporty touch and helps improve aerodynamics. It is integrated with an Led
high-mount brake lamp, which increases awareness of stopping intention to following drivers.
Fog lamps
The angular shaped fog lamps are set in a soft-edged recess, adding extra personality and a sense of
refinement while enhancing visibility of the road ahead during inclement weather.

Stylish and wide rear combination lamps wrap around the curved i30 body, enhancing safety by
providing greater visibility.
Folding wing mirrors & welcome lights (elite and Premium)
Aerodynamically designed outside mirrors automatically fold and unfold when the Smart key remote
is activated. Similarly, puddle lamps switch on when the vehicle is unlocked, making entry to the front
seats easier and safer.
Alloy wheels (elite and Premium)
The i30 Premium sports all-new chrome insert wheels and the elite has a unique twin spoke design
both of which add a distinctive elegant, yet sporty touch.

Sporty and compact on the outside, the New generation
i30 interior radiates confidence and comfort. Packed with
technology-rich features such as a touch-screen audio
system and, on elite and Premium, an impressive blue-backlit
dual cylinder instrument cluster, the first impression is
futuristic and euphoric.
Then you’ll be struck by the surprising sense of space and
comfort. All of a sudden it’s no longer a small car. There’s
plenty of head, leg and shoulder room, plus more than a
long-weekend’s worth of cargo space for cases, bags and
sports gear – as well as a whole lot more. With 60:40 split rear
seats, the i30’s carrying capacity becomes almost cavernous,
and with the Premium you also enjoy the added convenience
of an under-floor storage box located in the cargo area.
The ergonomically designed and richly appointed seats are
available in either a cloth or leather trim*, depending on the
grade, while a dual-zone climate control system in the elite
and Premium ensures optimal occupant comfort.
In keeping with your expectations of a luxury vehicle, the i30
also incorporates a variety of technologies and construction
techniques that create a quiet cabin environment by reducing
outside noise.
