To start with the tour, visit one of our
many local and regional dining locations,
such as Bailiwicks Coffee Company, JT’s
Bagel Bar, or the Beehive Café. Visitors
then have a jumping off point in the
downtown to visit many of our Little Box
Shops such as Simply Susan’s.
Start your visit off with some local
history by visiting the former site of Fort
Ball situated along the Sandusky River on
Frost Parkway. After that, tours can visit
the Seneca County Museum to get further
information about the fort and the early
days of the city.

Afternoon
Visitors can choose to continue
shopping downtown or jump to
some of our other shopping
locations, such as Jeffrey Jewelry or
Threads on the west end. A stop to
Granny Ballreich’s Company Store
would send you home with some
locally made potato chips. Round out
your trip with a stop to Ralph’s Joy of
Living for kitchenware, cookware,
gadgets, and more. Visitors can learn
about coffee, treat themselves to
wine, or have a cheese tasting.
Tiffin Glass Museum
Afternoon
During the afternoon, visitors looking for
more historic flair from the county can visit
the local Train Depot, the American Civil
War Museum of Ohio, the Tiffin Glass
Museum, the Fostoria Area Historical
Society Museum, or the LE&W Depot, also
in Fostoria. Other locations include the Ritz
Theatre, a 1928 vaudeville movie palace
that now serves as the center of the
county’s performing arts, or St. Paul’s
United Methodist Church, which was the
first public building in the world to be
electrified during construction.
