Let’s relive those memories again
It’s that time of the year again to soak in the spirit of nostalgia and revisit golden memories from the
past. The Alumni Relations Team has got their game going with the preparations for ANUSMRUTI 2016 the Annual Alumni Reunion. The tradition continues and like every year we have invited our Host
batches (1994-96 & 2004-06) and Guest batches (1992-93 to 2013-15,excluding 1994-96 and 2004-06) to
be a part of this grand reunion.
The Annual Alumni Reunion of SIIB promises a wonderful opportunity to get together to reminisce
memorable experiences and most specially to renew the commitment to the noble ideals of our beloved
Alma Mater.
The Alumni Relations team has started getting in touch with all the alumni across different batches
inviting them back to the campus to remind them of the days they have spent in the campus, classroom
and hostel with their friends and mentors.
We look forward to see all the alumni back to the campus; enlightening the students from current
batches about their experiences from the corporate world and giving us an insight to different
industries. So save the date, 9Th January 2016; to renew the old bonds and make new memories.
CRACK IT WITH SIIB
“If you can dream it, you can do it”-Walt Disney
The countdown begins, the season for SNAP is back again. With less than a month left for the SNAP
2016, the SIIB PR and media committee of SIIB is all set to roll out the ‘Crack it with SIIB ’16 series across
15 major cities of India. The series of events are lined up between 12th to 15th of December.
The PR and media committee conducts “Crack It” every year with a view to share the SNAP experience
with the aspirants. They also organized two mock online tests as a precursor to the main event and it
saw a huge response from the aspirants. Given the mammoth scale at which the event is being
conducted, the SIIB PR and media team has formed an extended team to work towards promoting the
event in all major zones throughout the country to conduct mock SNAP exams. They have formed tie ups
with leading coaching centers such as Time, Career Launcher, Erudite, Educity, CPLC and many more.
Crack it with SIIB not only provides guidance and tips for acing SNAP but also quickens problem solving,
eases the path between SNAP to MBA and provides a clear picture about SIIB as a premier B-school and
how the association can add value to the careers of the aspirants. This year, eminent alumni are also
slated to be a part of the event in order to share the experiences of life at SIIB with the candidates.
SYMBIOSIS FOOTBALL LEAGUE
Let’s football!
For the first time in the history of Symbiosis, Symbiosis InfoTech Campus will be hosting its maiden
Football league – Symbiosis Football League (SFL). This league was initiated by the sports committees of
the 3 colleges: SIIB, SCIT and SCMHRD.
A total of eight teams are participating in this league. The auction of the teams was conducted on 30th
November. There were students assembled in large numbers to buy their favorite team and the auction
turned out to be a great success.
The Symbiosis Football League player auction was held at the SIC Igni Circle and saw enormous
enthusiasm amongst participants and audience alike. The league is slated to kick off in midDecember.All the most valuable players (MVPs) and club owners were present looking out for the best
talents for their teams. It was a welcome change for the students from the routine academic activities to
experience the thrill of bidding in real time. As the sports club rightly puts it:
"This is our moment, this is our movement"
Money was spilled and energy levels soared high as club owners fought for the best players.
Looking forward to this great league and may the best team win.
BIZOOKA: B-PLAN COMPETITION

The Entrepreneurship Cell at SIIB was formed with a vision to promote the spirit of entrepreneurship
among students. BIZOOKA-The official B-Plan contest of E-Cell provides a wonderful opportunity for
participants to share their startup vision and entrepreneurial skills.
BIZOOKA aims to find out the best of business ideas, evaluate them and give them feedback after
conducting a mentorship program by successful entrepreneurs and industry experts.
It also offers them a platform for pitching it in front of a panel consisting of eminent investors and
consultants.
The first round for the event concluded with all the registered teams submitting an executive summary
for their respective businesses. The next step entails presenting a detailed b-plan. The d business plan
should cover business vision and mission, marketing plan and financial plan. Top teams will be
shortlisted for the final round and will battle it out for the coveted prize as a part of the Start Up
Conclave.
