I HEREBY APPLY for reservation for my child at YMCA CAMP CLASSEN and understand that my $100 deposit is non refundable. I understand that one
session change is allowed without a fee, but a $25 change fee will be added per occurrence to accommodate all subsequent changes. If my child is accepted
for enrollment, I agree to pay my portion of the total camp fee before opening day of my session(s). I agree that cancellations prior to June 1st, 2015 are
eligible for refunds minus the non refundable deposit. I agree that cancellations after May 31st, 2015 will be responsible for the entire camp fee and will be
ineligible for fee refunds. I agree that cancellations and session changes can only be accepted in writing via letter, fax or email. I understand the terms
covering payment of camp fees, deposits and refunds and hereby give my approval and consent to the application.
IN CASE OF MEDICAL EMERGENCY, I hereby give my permission to the physician selected by the Camp’s Director or their designee to hospitalize,
secure proper treatment for, and to order injection, anesthesia or surgery for my child. I accept the responsibility for medical and surgical treatment charges
which may be incurred on my child’s behalf.

Where are canoeing, great food, hiking, starry nights, campfires, swimming, new friends and
horseback riding available every day? YMCA CAMP CLASSEN! Sign-up for a session this summer
and once you arrive at camp you’ll notice a distinctively different atmosphere. YMCA CAMP
CLASSEN is a place where you can be yourself, be goofy and just have fun all in a safe and caring
environment. Have you ever climbed a wall, ridden a horse, shot a bow and arrow or paddled a
canoe? Walk a little taller at camp as you try new things, learn new skills and make new friends.
Select Horseshoe Club as your elective and you’ll spend an hour daily with the horses. Or just
add a Trail Ride for a one time experience. Kids grow at YMCA CAMP CLASSEN.
NEW SUMMER NEW FRIENDS
89ers (ages 13-15)
Ever wonder what camp is all about? We think it is about getting to know new friends and
hanging out with old ones, about having lots of fun and trying new things. As an 89ER
camper you’ll experience things that Main Campers don’t do such as our weekly trip to
Turner Falls, the Screamer Swing and more. Along with all the traditional resident camp fun
we plan activities and evenings that compliment teen’s unique independent spirit such as a
later lights out, plenty of afternoon time around the lake front and so much more. Camp
isn’t just for little kids, it is for teens too!

Frontier Adventure (ages 13-15)
Saddle-up pardner’. We are headed for historic Colling’s 101 Ranch on the property of
YMCA CAMP CLASSEN. As a Frontier Adventure camper you’ll spend plenty of time in the
saddle as you take riding lessons, trail rides and more during the morning. The afternoons
are spent at on Main Camp at the beach, swimming, Trading Post and more. Learn from the
best Equestrian Director this side of the Mississippi on our working horse ranch. You’ll even
have a chance to cool off at Turner Falls! Two week campers enjoy an equestrian related
field trip too! So saddle up. We’re expecting you.

If you can’t imagine a summer without CAMP CLASSEN but want to get out and explore the
country then the Colorado Trip is for you! You’ll hit the open road with your trip leaders and
head for some of the most desired destinations in Colorado like a gold mine exploration,
sand dunes, zip lines across a gorge, two days rafting on the Colorado River and more. The
trip emphasizes opportunities for you to learn how to live as part of a community and
strengthen your leadership skills. Led by qualified staff and utilizes professional guides
where appropriate.

COUNSELOR IN TRAINING / WRANGLER IN TRAINING (ages 16-17)
If your teen is interested in growing as a leader and helping other campers enjoy camp to
the fullest, then our Counselor-in-Training or Wrangler-in-Training programs might be a
great fit for you. This vigorous 3 week program challenges participants to learn and develop
leadership skills and employ an “others first” attitude. Our core values of Honesty, Caring,
Respect and Responsibility are stressed.
