Additional Information
The Homespring™ Central Water Purifier must be installed by an authorized Homespring™ technician
and properly maintained in accordance with the Homeowner's Manual. Failure to properly maintain
the system will compromise performance and/or result in a failure to control water quality, which
may lead to delivering of contaminated water. Improvements to taste result when the system is used
with the optional carbon filter. Water Safety: Please see the certification and independent laboratory
results below. Contaminants and pathogens may build-up in a house’s piping system and could shed
into the water after it has been filtered through the Homespring™ Central Water Purifier. Follow manual
instructions, including use of a sanitizer on the piping system to avoid contaminant build-up. Exposure
to microorganisms may also occur during daily activities.
The Homespring™ Central Water Purifier means
pure, crystal clear water from every faucet in your home.
1 Inlet
Ultrafiltration membrane technology filters
municipal, well, cistern, lake and river water. It
is easy to install where the water supply enters
the house, generally near a water heater, in
new or existing homes.
2 Pre-filter
An optional Activated Carbon Pre-filter
improves taste and minimizes unwanted odors.
3 Ultrafiltration Membranes
Ultrafiltration membranes are an effective
block against undesirable particles, bacteria,
viruses and cysts to provide microbiologically
purified water.

4 Continuous Supply
The Homespring™ Central Water Purifier uses
normal water pressure to provide a continuous
supply of crystal clear, microbiologically
purified water. If the power fails the
Homespring™ Central Water Purifier continues
filtering.
5 Drain
The Homespring™ Central Water Purifier
effectively flushes all rejected impurities down
the drain during the automatic cleaning cycle.
6 Outlet
Filtered water on demand flows from the
Homespring™ Central Water Purifier to the
water heater and to every faucet, shower or
bath in the home.

to NSF/ANSI 42 and 53.

The Homespring™ UF200 Series** Water Purifiers have been tested by BioVir® Laboratories Inc.
and found to meet all the requirments of the USEPA’s Guide Standard Protocol for Testing
Microbiological Water Purifiers (OPP Task Force Report, 1987) as interpreted by the BioVir®
Laboratories specifically for the Homespring™ UF200 Series Products.
The test results were:

The Homespring™ UF 200 Water Filtration System should only be installed
where the System and the installation complies with state and local laws and
regulations. The Homespring™ UF 200 Water Filtration System should only be
used to filter water that is cold. The Homespring™ UF 200 Water Filtration System
conforms with ANSI/NSF 42/53 for the specific performance claims as verified and
substantiated by test data.
7 Automatic Cleaning Cycle
The Homespring™ Central Water Purifier is
engineered to automatically flush itself clean
at a very efficient rate. It automatically flushes
impurities down the drain during your preselected time each day.
