Objective
The General objective of the project is the valorisation of
cross-border cultural and archaeological heritage. This is
to reinforce the competitiveness in the Tourism Market
and to provide a better touristic image in international
circuits.
The planning of such features is fundamental for the
valorisation of the heritage of the area. The project has
created various heritage trails aimed for tourists and for
educational purposes. These objectives were integrated
in a joint conservation, management and international
marketing plan.

Cross-border training seminars
The project has involved students (both Maltese and Italian)
from tertiary education who have been helped to participate
in cross-border training seminars. In this way the expertise
from both sides of the partnership has been passed on to
others. Such beneficiaries included archaeology, tourism and
cultural and heritage students and practitioners.
