The Badger/Black Heart airbrushing and model-finishing class at WonderFest 2016 is SOLD OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!
The class will be on Friday June 3rd and will run from 10am to 4pm. The class will feature the debut of a
brand new 1:2 scale bust from Black Heart, Abner Marin’s Angelique, which stands twelve inches tall.
We’ll be using Badger’s new Xtreme Patriot airbrush and Badger’s Stynylrez airbrush primer and Minitaire
paint. We’ll also use metallic paint wax.
Headlining the class will be veteran instructors Gordon Oberman and Jeff Camp with assistance from Badger
Air-brush Co. owner, Ken Schlotfeldt, and Black Heart’s George Stephenson.

G-Fest 2016 in Chicago
The Badger Air-brush Co./Black Heart Models airbrushing and
model finishing class is returning to G-Fest 2016. The class will
run from 10am to 4pm on Friday July 15th at the Crowne Plaza
Chicago O’Hare. Class participants will use Badger airbrush
equipment and paint. The class will feature Black Heart’s ’64
Godzilla wall-hanger bust sculpted by Bill Wieger which
measures just over 13 inches tall.
The class will be headlined by the guys from Kaiju Modeler,
Matt Evangelista and Ed Angeletti, and will be limited to 16
participants who will choose one of two options:
Option A includes Black Heart’s Godzilla wall-hanger; a Badger
low-noise, automatic shut-off, compressor with regulator and
gauge; Badger’s brand new Extreme Patriot airbrush; a set of
paint from Badger’s Minitaire line and other finishing supplies;
and 6 hours of airbrushing and painting instruction. The cost
for Option A is $325.
Option B includes everything in Option A except the
compressor. Badger will have compressors for participants
choosing Option B. The cost for Option B is $275.

Badger Products
For several years, Black Heart has teamed with Badger Air-brush Co. to produce airbrushing and model
finishing classes at nearly 20 classes at conventions in across the country. In 2016, Black Heart has become
a Badger dealer through whom a number of Badger products are now available. We will not offer Badger’s
full line of airbrushes and compressors and paints and parts. But we have some GK-preferred items specific
like Badger’s Xtreme Patriot airbrush; we have the Patriot, Krome and Sotar 20/20 airbrushes available, too.
Visit our Store this month to see the Badger products we carry. Badger’s American-made airbrushes,
primers, and paint sets are perfect for garage kits and other models kits.
New Stuff
Black Heart’s next 1:1 scale bust is Nosferatu sculpted by Jeff Yagher and based on the 1922 silent classic
starring Max Schreck. Nosferatu will be available in three formats: our 360°series painted bust ($650 plus
$35 U.S. shipping); our 360° Series un-painted bust ($325 plus $35 U.S shipping); and our 1:1 scale wallhanger ($300 plus $35 shipping).
We are awaiting delivery of the busts and will start shipping them to our Kickstarter backers as soon as the
shipment arrives. We’ll have a handful of the Nosferatu busts at WonderFest. If interested, hit us early.
T-Shirts
We are finally offering our T-shirts on line in our Store . The cost is $24 plus $8 U.S. shipping. Two shirts
are $40 plus $10 U.S. shipping; three shirts are $60 plus $12 U.S. shipping. Sizes include Small, Med, Large,

and Gordon Oberman for custom painting KickStarter
backers, to assist in marketing the bust and for how-to
articles.
