Richmond Welcomes Woodfin
On December 8, 2015, Woodfin President Justin Andress and I were delighted to join Mayor
Dwight Jones in cutting the ribbon on our new headquarters located at 1823 North Hamilton
Street in Richmond. Woodfin has been serving the people of Richmond and its surrounding
communities for decades, and we expect our new location to provide a central hub for our
company’s operations, as it places us directly in the nucleus of our service area, allowing for
reduced response time with faster dispatching and more streamlined services all across the board.
The move to North Hamilton Street also finds us in the Scott’s Addition area, which is one of
Richmond’s fastest up-and-coming neighborhoods. At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Major Jones remarked, “This hot area
of the city welcomes this hot business.” We are as fired up about our new 18,000-square-foot location as the mayor is, and
agree with his assessment that, “Locally rooted businesses like Woodfin play a critical role in the revitalization taking place
along this important corridor of the city.” Of course, just because our headquarters has relocated doesn’t mean we have any
intention of forgetting where our original roots lie.
Mechanicsville served as Woodfin’s home base for decades, and we developed extremely close ties to the people and
businesses that make up the heart of that community. They will always have a special place in our hearts, and we thank
them for being such great neighbors over the years. Fortunately, this is not a ‘goodbye’ to Mechanicsville, as we will continue
to serve homes and businesses there, and in all sections of our existing service area for that matter. Wherever you are in

With that said, I’d like to once again thank Mayor Jones and the City of
