EAST VALLEY FAMILY YMCA
BASKETBALL (Ages 3-4) Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring
For girls and boys, our 3-4 year old basketball program is a parent-child participation program that emphasizes skill development,
self-esteem, fair play and fun while teaching the fundamentals of basketball. Our program is for children who have little or no sports
experience and want to learn more and improve their skills in this 45-minute class. This is an excellent opportunity for parent/child
interaction in a positive class environment. This is offered at East Valley Family YMCA and Berryessa Youth Center
SOCCER (Ages 3-4) Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring
Our soccer program is for girls and boys who want to develop skills, self-esteem and teamwork while learning the fundamentals of soccer.
The whole family can get involved with this program that is designed for children with little or no experience. It’s an excellent opportunity
to introduce your child to soccer without the complexity of league play. This is offered at East Valley Family YMCA
We also offer Family Yoga, Youth/Teen Booth Camp, Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Ballet, Rock Climbing, Private Basketball Training,
Swim lessons, Parent’s Night Outs, Birthday Packages, 1-2-3 Grow, Kids Club, After School and Childcare Programs and more.

IM INTERESTED IN COACHING/ GETTING INVOLVED
If you are interested in coaching or getting involved there is a simple
process to follow. First, start off by checking the corresponding boxes
on the registration portion of this form. Second, we will arrange an
appointment to fingerprint you at a convenient time and location.

program and the success of our program depends on parent support
and involvement. For details, please contact 408 715 6500 or

WHATS MY ROLE AS A PARENT
Your role is support your child’s sports experience as much as
possible. You can do this by doing the following: Attend all practices
and games with your child and be attentive and observant, put the
cell phones and tablets away. Kids grow up fast, so enjoy every
moment of it. Always be positive, praise and recognize effort. Never
yell out commands or discipline your child from the sidelines. Get
involved and help support your child’s team by coordinating a snack
schedule and get to know other parents. This is how kids learn how
to have healthy community relationships.
WHEN BRINGING SNACKS/DRINKS
When bringing snacks, please avoid all items made with or around
peanuts and other tree nuts. Communicate with Y staff and parents
of any allergies your child may have. Please avoid any unhealthy
snack/ drink choices at all cost.

request, parents may only request a prefered practice time, permitting there is space on the desired time slot. Each team will have a mix of
