EPCA introduces an alternative
way for efficient lighting control
• are the ideal solution for street and outdoor lighting due
to their long life, directional light, uniform brightness and
illumination.

A PIR-based (Passive InfraRed sensor) motion detector
reduces the light output in times of low traffic.
Compared to normal installations it saves up to 70% of
energy due to a solar charge controller for autonomous
lamp systems with brightness control.

and people need darkness to sleep, relax and regenerate.

High energy efficiency:
AL NOOR Solar-Pads lighting systems
consume much less energy than sodium lamps,
because of the LED technology – savings of
about 40-50%. Due to the low power consumption
not only the environment, but also the budget of cities
and municipalities is spared.
Less light pollution:
The light of the AL NOOR system can be aligned, to avoid
unnecessary light pollution. This benefits not only the visibility
of the night sky, but also many animals as well as human
health.
Insects friendly:
The light from light-emitting diodes (LEDs) looks unattractive
to night active insects, they will be preserved from mass
deaths at a hot lightbulb – in addition, expensive lamp
cleaning is no longer required.
Long service life:
While the commonly used sodium lamps only have a lifetime of about 12.000 hours, the LED lighting system lasts
for 50.000 hours. It‘s nearly five times extended than most
conventional street lighting.
Self-contained supply:
Ideal street lighting or bus stops illumination without extensive and expensive electrical wiring. Rural areas can be easily
supplied with lighting, thanks to integrated solar modules and
battery units.
