TechniSat Digital Group
The company
TechniSat Digital GmbH was founded in
1987 by Peter Lepper with the aim of producing high-quality satellite reception products for the end-consumers. The decision
to establish in-house development and production in Germany was made back in 1990.
The high quality standards TechniSat sets

and ease of use, but also on environmental protection.

launched its first LCD digital TV set aimed

TechniSat offers a wide range of PC products for the reception of digital television
via satellite, cable and terrestrial. As well as
the reception of digital television and radio
programmes, the TechniSat PC products
are equipped with the powerful and easy to
use reception and playback tool DVBViewer
TE2, an electronic programme information service with different useful features.
In combination with the DVR function of
the PC and the installed DVBViewer TE2
(TechniSat Edition), it is possible to record
TV and Radio programmes to a hard disk
drive. Some products are also ready for
Pay-TV due to CI - Clot.1)

Common Interface extension for the reception of Pay TV1)
Receiving Pay TV on the PC could not be
easier. The CI extension for the SkyStar
HD 2/CableStar HD 2 card is an additional option for the reception of Pay TV. It is
connected to the TV card via a flat ribbon
cable (included). All you need is a conditional access module depending on the
encryption service used. The CI slot extension can be used in combination with the
SkyStar HD 2 as well as CableStar HD 2
PCI card.

CI Slot makes the CableStar Combo HD

DVB-C/T Switch
The additional Switch offered by TechniSat Digital is able to select between DVB-C and DVB-T
via the 5V feed voltage. Once the customer has activated the antenna in the hardware options,
the channel scan for both DVB–C and DVB–T Tuners can be activated and the channel list will
be populated with both DVB-C and DVB-T channels. With the active antenna option enabled,
CableStar Combo HD CI automatically uses the 5V feed voltage for DVB-T transmissions.

The AirStar Telestick 2 is a USB 2.0 stick for

The product comes complete with DVBViewer TE2 software which provides an
