teatrale per conoscere luoghi e storie

Con il buio della notte, al solo chiarore
della luna, il vulcano si trasforma per i viaggiatori
di oggi, il paesaggio permetterà ai partecipanti
di immergersi nel silenzio per ascoltare
le storie antiche e moderne sussurrate
dal cratere. Accompagnati da guide
vulcanologiche, si avrà l’opportunità di vivere
un’esperienza unica. Attraverso le pagine
dei viaggiatori del Grand Tour affascinati
da questo vulcano mitico, si sveleranno racconti,
storie e toccanti riflessioni sul passato e sul presente.

Passeggiata notturna tra reale e virtuale,
racconti storici e suggestioni di luce, teatro
e musica tra le storie sepolte dell’antica Ercolano.
Proiezioni in 3D dell’eruzione del Vesuvio, visita
con un archeologo e performance teatrali per
un’inedita visione notturna degli scavi di Ercolano.
Si parte dall’aula didattica con la proiezione in 3D
dell’eruzione del vulcano. Un archeologo guida poi una
suggestiva discesa verso i fornici per un’emozionante
performance teatrale, durante la quale una
giovane donna che ha perso la vista racconta di una
quotidianità spensierata e dell’inattesa catastrofe.
Il percorso guidato continua sulla terrazza di Marco
Nonio Balbo e da qui ci si inoltra all’interno del tessuto
urbano della città antica, passeggiando tra le strade
e le dimore antiche.

tales and the enchantment of light, theater and
music amid stories of ancient buried Herculaneum.
3D projections of the eruption of Vesuvius, tours
accompanied by an archaeologist, and theatrical
performances for an unprecedented nighttime viewing
of the excavations of Herculaneum.
The tour starts from the conference hall, where you
can see the 3D projections of the eruption of the
volcano. From here, an archaeologist guides you in
a picturesque descent into the “fornici” (arched rooms)
for an exciting theatrical performance, in which a
young woman who has lost her sight recounts her
carefree everyday life and the unexpected catastrophe.
The guided tour continues along the terrace of Marcus
Nonius Balbus, and from here we enter the urban fabric
of the ancient city, walking through its streets and
amid its ancient dwellings.
