Premiere of FEROCIOUS
March 1, 2013 (Saskatoon) – Saskatoon filmed Ferocious opens in theatres in Saskatchewan
Friday March 8th. Stars Kim Coates and Michael Eklund return to their roots to host the premieres in
Regina and Saskatoon. Eklund will attend the Friday March 8th premiere in Regina’s Galaxy
Cinemas for a Q and A along with producer Anand Ramayya. Both Coates and Eklund will attend
Saskatoon’s screening on Saturday March 9th at the Galaxy Cinemas.
In the thriller Ferocious, written and directed by Calgary’s Robert Cuffley, Eklund portrays a
bartender and former boyfriend of the long-gone celebrity Leigh Parrish (Amanda Crew), and Coates
plays the sleazy nightclub owner that has been extorting cash from celebrity Leigh Parrish (Amanda
Crew) over an incriminating videotape.
Filmed on location in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Ferocious played at World Film Festival in Montreal
and Calgary International Film Festival and “had people cringing and jumping at shadows,” observed
Robert Cuffley. “Acting is top notch.” Fantasia Film Festival’s Mitch Davis emphatically comments: "If

FEROCIOUS also stars Amanda Crew (Jobs, Charlie St. Cloud), Dustin Milligan and Katie Boland
and was produced by Calgary’s Carolyn McMaster, CHAOS a film company and Saskatoon’s Anand
Ramayya of Karma Film.
