d'utilisation! À avoir dans sa trousse beauté!
Les produits Nailene (http://www.nailene.com/) sont
disponible chez Walmart et Pharmaprix.

Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Blush.
When this line of blushes first came out last year, we
tested out their mood-boosting claims and found that
they weren't going to put Prozac out of business
anytime soon. That being said, the powders are
super pretty and have a soft floral scent that,
although short-lived, is quite appealing.
The new shades for 2012 include Pink and
Warm, the latter being my favorite. Depending
where you swirl your brush in the pan, you get
a warm pink or a hot coral shade—either way
they’ll leave your complexion healthy and
glowing (thanks to a soft hint of shimmer).
And that's something to be happy about.

"I definitely have a new shadow
obsession. First of all, the palette
itself comes in lingerie-like pink and
black lace with an adorable pink bow.
Inside are nine different shades,
separated into eyeshadow and
eyeliner by the size of the product
(bigger is shadow, smaller is liner).
I've been wearing the shades all week
and I don't see myself putting this
palette down any time soon."

Medicine Cabinet Confidential: 4 of the Most Gorgeous
Products on My Desk
Are there beauty products you extra-love not just because they're
really amazing, but also because they're total eye candy? This
week, I wanted to dedicate my editor's picks to four of the most
beautiful products on my desk right now—plus one shampoo that
I'm newly obsessed with (and which smells divine).
the Physician's Formula has
packaged its newest eyeshadow
palettes. Each palette—Smoky
(deep blacks, greys, purples,
blues), Fashionista (jewel
purples, pinks, and a yellow),
Casual (denim-inspired and
earthy hues), and Nude
(above)—comes in a specially
designed case. The Nude one,
$10.95, looks like sexy lingerie
(how chic!) and comes with
detailed instructions on how to
use the colors to their best
effect.

Road Test: Physician's Formula Shimmer Strips Eye Shadows and Liners Looking for a new
look this spring? Make your eyes pop with these new Shimmer Strips sets from Physician's
When it comes to makeup this spring, the eyes have it! Word on the street is that flawless
skin paired with an attention-grabbing eye will be one of the hot looks for the season. And
we’ve found just the products to help you achieve it: Physician’s Formula’s Shimmer Strips
Eye Enhancing Shadows and Liners!
These new eye shadow and liner sets include a selection of different shades, allowing you to
play around with looks ranging from the subtle to the theatrical. I tried out both the Smokey
Eyes shadow set and the eyeliner trio, and boy, was I ever pleased with the results.
The shadow set comes with a total of nine—count ‘em!—shades, which have been handily
grouped into three trios corresponding to looks with different levels of intensity. For a
lighter look, try the first trio of shades, which Physician’s Formula helpfully describes as the
“Natural” look. With a friendly grey base, a subtle sparkly highlight, and a zing of lilac for the
contour, this look defines your eyes while still keeping it neutral enough for the office. For
something a little more striking that will go from work to the bar, try the second set,
“Playful.” The tones of these shades are similar to the Natural shades; however, they’re
darker, with the base being steelier, the highlight silver, and the contour grape-colored. If
you want high drama, naturally you’ll head straight to the third set, “Dramatic:” gunmetal,
slate, and deepest black.
My favorite of the looks is Natural, though admittedly Playful is great for a night out. Rarely
do I find myself in places where I need the deep, dark intensity of Dramatic, but if I were a
jet-setting woman of mystery, it would definitely be my go-to look. All three of them are
long-lasting, and they’ll enhance any eye color by drawing focus to your peepers and making
them pop. You can also feel free to mix and match the shades at will. Blend them to create
new shades, wet them for a more dramatic finish, use them as eyeliner… the possibilities are
endless!
Furthermore, you can play up or down the drama of each look depending on the eyeliner
you pair it with. The Smoky Eyes Eyeliner Trio is a great complement to the shadows; there’s
a silver shade for the lighter looks, a charcoal liner for the medium ones, and a nice rich
black for the most striking ones. You can even skip the shadow and just layer the liners for
yet another fab smoky eye look: Use the black liner on your upper lids right next to your
lashes, then layer the silver one directly above it to make your eye pop. A smidge of the
charcoal liner under your bottom lashes finishes the look. The best part? They’re smudgeproof and last for 24 full hours. No need to reapply!
Smoky looks not your thing? Have no fear; there are three other
shadow sets to try. Fashionista is full of bold purples, lilacs, and
golds; Casual has a friendly palette of blues, pinks, and bronzes; and
Nude is full of… well, nudes. But not boring nudes: complex,
multifaceted nudes. You can also check out the Nude Eyeliner Trio,
which uses subtle champagnes, pewters, and blacks to draw out
your eyes.
So go on: Hie thee to a drugstore and pick up one of these sets.
Spring is a perfect time for a new look!

3 Rules for Winter Bronzer
A good faux glow is in season!
Here's how to do it right

good faux glow is in season! Here's how to do it
right” on Prevention.com. Readers are directed

What time of year do you typically brush on bronzer? I think of a tan (always
faux!) as a summer thing but, I was recently at a product launch event for the
brand Physicians Formula and they mentioned that they now sell more
bronzers in the winter than in the summer, which wasn't the case until about a
year ago—apparently a winter bronze is now the new thing. And on top of
that, studies show a relationship between a good diet and a tan-looking skin
tone, so adding bronzer to your makeup routine may also help bolster a
healthy appearance. To make sure your glow looks healthy and natural, here
are three key tips that I have found the most helpful for my particularly pale
skin:
1. Follow the "E, 3, 1" rule. For perfect placement, sweep the brush from the
center of your forehead, over your temple and across your cheek, then down
along your jawbone. Do this on either side of your face, giving yourself an "E"
and a "3"—get it? Finish up with a "1": A sweep down the bridge of your nose.
Think of it this way: You're stroking the brush where the sunlight would
normally hit you if the sun were overhead.
2. Don't forget your ears and neck. Just like foundation, you don't want your
makeup to suddenly stop at your jawline. Lend a light dusting from the tip of
each ear down the sides of your neck. Then do stokes down the front of your
neck and across your collarbone.
3. Add blush. An actual tan from the sun does leave skin with a little pink, so
tap blush onto the apples of your cheeks and a touch on your nose, and you'll
like you just stepped off the plane from a vacation.
Secret Trick for Beginners: A fan brush like this one here from Eyes Lips Face
at Target leaves a super light layer of color so you can build to the tan level
that looks pretty to you with no big streaks.
