■ Coachʼs Comment: “We are looking to pick up right where we left off last year.
We have a large group of guys returning from last yearʼs team, which helps bring a
nice balance of experience and talent. The guys from last year are battle-tested
and that experience will help in the close meets. We also have been lucky with the
number of newcomers this season. We added 10 guys to the roster who have
never swam before but are showing great promise and 11 guys who have swam at
either the modified or varsity level at some point and then mix that with the 16 guys
from last year for a total of 37 athletes and I like our chances. We expect to see
our diving program to continue to stay strong this season with three returning
divers and two newcomers. Coach Richardson does a first-class job training our
divers and our returning three look very strong.”
■ Coach: Rob Thelin
(second year)
■ Last season: N/A
■ Key departed swimmers: Ian Thane, Tyler
Morrone, Paul Dietrich,
Corey Michalek, Connor
Kline, Trevor Pawlik.

■ Newcomers: Kristian
Santos, Morgan Mintzer,

■ Coachʼs comment:
“We have a young team
with a lot of new kids. Our
main goal is to see how
many we can get qualified
for sectionals. We want to
win in dual meets, but Iʼll
be happier with personal
bests.”
