BASEBOARD
Uniformity of room temperature is one gauge of comfort
provided by a heating system. When the outside walls are
warmed by convector baseboard, it has been shown that the
temperature differential between floor and ceiling averages
about 3° providing an even level of comfort. Weil-McLain’s
family of convector baseboard is designed for hydronic
heating installations and combines an attractive, stylish
appearance with unsurpassed heating comfort.
Weil-McLain’s Therma Trim baseboard is designed for
hydronic heating installations in homes and apartments.
The variety of enclosure and element lengths, and the choice
of accessories, permit fast, easy installation. Metal-to-metal
expansion noise is eliminated with four full-length element
guides, and room-by-room temperature is easily controlled
with finger-touch damper movement.
Weil-McLain’s High Trim baseboard is designed for
installation where heat loss is high, or where wall space
is limited. The enclosures are made of pre-painted coldrolled heavy gage steel for maximum strength, but also
blend smoothly and attractively into any décor. Fingertouch damper movement permits room-by-room
temperature control.
Weil-McLain’s Cast Iron Snug baseboard has been
a standard in the industry for many years. The unusually
large waterways and cast iron construction of these units
provide a reservoir of stored heat which prevents a sharp
drop in temperature when the thermostat shuts off the
heat supply. Simple in design, this baseboard occupies
a minimum of space.

BOILER CONTROL PANELS
BCP-3
Weil-McLain offers the ultimate in multiple-boiler sequencing
controls—the BCP control panels. BCP panels use microprocessor
power to make smart decisions on when and how many boilers to
turn on. Advanced (PID) logic lets these controls watch how much
and how fast the system responds, ensuring boilers won’t be cycled
unless they are needed. The result is maximum possible operating
efficiency with little or no cyclic heat losses.
Three of the BCP panels are illustrated at left. All BCP panels are
programmable, allowing you to customize the control to the exact
job requirements.
BCP-6
The BCP-3 is a water system outdoor reset controller with 3 output
stages. You can apply these stages to sequence 3 boilers or to sequence
the system circulator and one or two boilers.
The BCP-6 and BCP-12 provide 6 or 12 output stages. These controls
are programmable and provide selector switches on the control board
to allow a broad range of customization, including application to steam
systems as well as water systems.
BCP-12
EASY-FIT® MANIFOLDS
EASY-FIT® manifolds allow connections from boilers using smalldiameter tubing or pipe, making piping much faster and simpler than
connecting each boiler to the main. No cutting and threading of largediameter piping is required for the boiler connections. Use for boilers
up to 218,000 BTUH output.
