2. Heat outputs
The amount of heat output required in a room to provide the warmth you
need, is primarily dictated by the size of the room in question. Just as this
size varies from room to room, so will the level of heat output required. The
simplest way to identify the heat output needed for an individual room is to
calculate the volume of the room in cubic metres (m3) and then multiply this
number by 50 to find the Watts requirement. MYSON recommend that
you always confirm your heating requirements with your heating
engineer/installer (see Example).
3. System requirements
Direct
systems use your domestic hot water supply to heat radiators and
towel rails, whereas indirect
systems operate independently. Products
made from brass are suitable for any hot water central heating system
but
products made from steel should only be fitted to indirect
systems.

1. Method of heating
Start by choosing your preferred method of heating. Choose from decorative
radiators, electric heating, fan convectors and towel warmers to be used
individually or as a combination.
Example: The volume of a
room 2.4m high, 2m wide
and 4m long would be
2.4 x 2 x 4 = 19.2 m3.
The recommended heat
output required for this
room would therefore be
19.2 x 50 = 960 Watts.

within a unit plinth or floor cavity providing a fresh thinking, innovative heating
solution. Where traditional radiators take up precious wall space and restrict design
possibilities, the KICKSPACE® heater allows freedom to tailor your home around your
lifestyle. Central heating, electric and duo models available.
The kitchen is often where space is most at a premium and the KICKSPACE® can
deliver the most benefits but equally, the bathroom or hallway can be alternative
applications. All versions are designed to be installed horizontally into recessed
locations. They require an adequate supply of inlet air and the axis of the motor must
remain horizontal.
The KICKSPACE® can also be used alongside the MYSON INNOKO towel rail to
provide the perfect drying and heating solution for any kitchen (please see page 85).
