Twenty-eight hungry members gathered at the
Delta 109 Tavern & Eatery in beautiful downtown
DeltafortheMarchlunch.Thedaywasevennice
enough weather-wise to attract a few Miatas,
seenparkedalongMainStreet.
Weweredirectedtothebackroom,conveniently
thebarroom,wheregenialhostRichprovidedus
with our favorite brews and a variety of food.
Conversations ranged from winter adventures to
summer plans. It was announced that Meanders
begininAprilwithadestinationoftheGreatLakes
Museum.SteveBeamalsotalkedabitaboutwhat
heisplanningfortheovernighttriptotheGilmore
MuseuminAugust.
Itseemstobenowbeafactthatifyouhostaclub
lunch,yourchancesofwinningthe50/50raffleare
quite good. Pat Beam won the raffle following
winsbyPatDettmerandSueGreeley’sfriendJohn
inJanuaryandFebruary. Keepthatinmindwhen
volunteersaresolicitedtohostclubevents.
