surgery. We feel blessed each day we
go to work knowing that we are helping
women worldwide.
American Breast Care was founded in
2003. One of our first tasks was to create
a credo. Not just words on paper, but a
credo we could live by and to which we
could also measure and compare our
activities and results. Take a minute to
read our credo on the opposite page.
We have always believed that we must
never stop innovating and improving.
Our mission is to put a “heartbeat” in
our prostheses. Last year, you saw us
take a step in that direction by offering
the ABC Custom Breast Prostheses line.
The comfort of an ABC Custom Breast
Prosthesis adds to a woman’s confidence
and helps reassure her that her specific

available on a limited basis and do not
appear in this catalog. However, you can

With our employees and many years of
experience in the breast care industry,
we have learned that listening to
retailers, fitters and survivors is the best
way to fully understand the needs of
patients.
The past several years have shown us
that the trend towards more conserving
surgeries continues and that the many
different surgical techniques leave a
variety of chest wall configurations that
in the end make a fitter’s task more
challenging than ever. As a solution
to such fitting challenges, we proudly
introduce for 2016 the innovative
ABC MyForm™ Lightweight. Please
visit page 16 of the catalog for product
information. This patent pending
prosthesis allows for fitting flexibility.
With our hypoallergenic fiber fill, you
can place the fullness where your patient
needs it!
We have also noted that a steady number
of women are choosing to undergo
reconstructive surgery. In preparation
for reconstructive surgery, most women
undergo tissue expansion. This process
presents a set of fitting challenges as well.
Our research has shown that having a
breast form solution that can be instantly
customized over a period of time would
be ideal for such a patient. On page 38,
you will find the ABC MyForm™ Shaper.
This partial is the ultimate solution for
those patients in need of an adjustable
shell.
Spring 2016 brings several new bra
additions. In recent years our women
have shown a preference for functional
and feminine bra styles. Please check

industry for either the Basic Foundations of Fitting class or Beyond Fitting:
Cornerstones to Success class, or both!
Instruction and learning objectives are
designed to address the ever changing
needs of today’s mastectomy fitter.
Basic Foundations of Fitting
This is a live training class that meets
the training pre-requisites set forth
by both ABC and BOC and is the
perfect place for a new fitter to start
their fitting career. Experienced fitters
will also benefit from attending. Class
content meets and exceeds ABC, BOC
and NCOPE Basic-class requirements.
Most importantly, attendees will leave
with confidence on how to select and
fit a bra, and breast form. While this
class is considered “Basic”, it’s so much
more! ABC and BOC certified fitters
are eligible to receive CEUs.
Beyond Fitting:
Cornerstones to Success
This live class is an extension of our
Basic Foundations of Fitting class. This
class is essential for both new and experienced fitters with a strong emphasis on: billing, required documentation,
marketing, emerging treatments and
survivorship, all of which are compo-
nents for a successful business. ABC
and BOC certified fitters are eligible to
receive CEUs.
Online Training
Welcome to the world of online classes
where convenience, choice, flexibility,
personal pace and savings come together perfectly for breast care professionals and mastectomy fitters. It’s where
certified fitters can earn continuing
education credits from anywhere!
While all fitters are welcome to take
an online class, only certified fitters are
eligible to earn CEUs.

Patrice Sobcznski, CFm, CMF
Patrice is a 26 year breast cancer survivor and has worked
in the breast care industry for 24 years. She is an nine-year
member of the ABC Sales and Education Team and is a
Certified Mastectomy Fitter with both ABC and BOC. Her personal experience, industry knowledge and caring personality are the
perfect combination for an exceptional learning experience. In her
spare time Patrice enjoys spending time with her family and traveling
to warm places.
Nikki M. Giamarino, CFm
Nikki is the Business Development Manager at ABC
and is an ABC Certified Fitter with 20 years in the medical and breast care industry, including instructing education classes. She holds a BS in Health Administration from Auburn
University. Her personal experience, industry knowledge and caring
personality are the perfect combination for an exceptional learning
experience. In her spare time Nikki enjoys traveling and riding her

The ABC MyForm™ is ideal for the following
patient conditions:
Add a little or add a lot to create an individualized fit for
your patient. Use our hypoallergenic fiber fill to:
• Concavity or Uneven Chest Wall: This occurs when
the patient has an indented or hollowed area in the
chest wall.
• Add fullness where you need it in the bra cup
• Uneven Breasts: This refers to a patient who has
natural asymmetry.
• Create an “in-between” size breast form instead of
sizing up to the next size
• Create more projection at the apex.

American Breast Care introduces the latest innovation in breast care, the ABC Diamond Asymmetric.
Specifically designed to fit the anatomical features of
the left and right side of your patient’s chest wall, this
breast form provides a shallow to average profile
with the bonus benefit of a lighter, more comfortable fit experience.
Asymmetric breast forms can provide
your mastectomy patient with a
closer, more comfortable fit when
compared to a symmetric breast
form. By design, a left or right
side extension can fully reach
underneath the arm or
towards the center of the
chest wall depending
upon the shape of the
asymmetric.
Fit: Features a standard asymmetric shape that extends fully under
the arm. Ideal for unilateral and
bilateral mastectomy patients
