ROTMAN SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT
CONGRATULATIONS FROM THE DEAN
This is an especially exciting year for the Rotman School.
We have opened our fantastic new expansion, doubling
the amount of space available for research, teaching, and
study. The expansion provides the resources necessary for
us to continue pursuing an agenda of academic excellence.
Top-performing students are an integral part of this process.
They help build a strong community of learning by raising
the scholastic bar for their peers, thereby enhancing the
work ethic and sense of determination for all students.
Merit-based scholarships recognize and honour the important accomplishments and
contributions of top scholars. Twenty-five per cent of our Full-Time, Morning and
Evening MBA, and MFin students receive such awards. These awards help attract
exceptional students as well as make management education more affordable.
The Rotman School has 90 unique awards, which provide more than two million
dollars to students each year. Many were established through the generous
support of corporate partners, alumni, and friends.
The Bradley David Griffiths Memorial Scholarship and the John A. Tory Fellowship
are two new awards that honour the legacies of two outstanding business leaders
and encourage others to follow in their footsteps. Thank you to the Griffiths Family
and Thomson Reuters for their foresight and generosity and to all our award donors
for supporting a strong scholastic culture at the Rotman School.
Congratulations to the 2012 award recipients on your outstanding accomplishments.
