Nat West Cricket Task Force Weekend Special Edition
Task Force Heroes at Feethams!
The Nat West Bank Cricket Task Force Weekend was a
great success with many members giving their time and
energy to help improve the grounds and facilities in
time for the new cricket season.
Volunteers were rewarded with cups of tea and coffee
and bacon sandwiches and a Free Tee Shirt.
Chairs were sanded, windows cleaned, paintwork
painted, running repairs to seating, nets were attended
to and the boundary fence was painted to name just a
few of the many activities that happened.
The club congratulate everyone who helped over the
weekend and thank them enormously.

weekend. Left

We had Gangnam Style....now it is window cleaning
“Giacomelli style” as last season’s under 11 star, Leo Giacomelli gets stuck into the function room windows.
Paula Hammond left, suffers
from some dust in the eye and
receives the first injury of the
weekend with a grazed knuckle
and two broken nails! Below

of the Sanders Lounge.

Director for
2013, Garry
Moody using his joinery skills to
mend several broken
seats. Right,

balcony
Left, Richard Sutton sorts out the netting onto the frames ready for the start of Junior coaching,
there was also plenty of painting to be done and Robin King was busy sanding the seating whilst
listening to a mix tape of motivational speeches by Peter Armstrong.
From the left, Hutton, Barnes, Armstrong, Lethbridge and King are surprisingly
left in charge of the entire balcony area! The mild weather also gave the
groundsman an opportunity to do some rolling of the square at last after the wet
winter. A team of experts made sure the boundary posts were whiter than white
Mr Moody won the award for
the smartest overalls as he
supervised the boundary post
painting. Infact, everywhere
you looked there were people
working hard!

Mr. April 2013
And Finally.....one for the ladies.
The First XI captain Peter Armstrong was feeling the heat as he worked on the painting of the balcony railings.
He bared his chest and inspired everyone to greater things.
Well done everyone! The ground was looking brilliant!
