SYNOPSIS
Chronic diseases can be defined as diseases with no end and ends with our end. Major chronic diseases
are Diabetes, Obesity, Hypertension, Ischaemic Heart Disease and Cancer. The question is that if modern
medicine boasts of better understanding of these diseases as compared to their predecessors, then why are
we still plagued with these diseases today? When talking to modern doctors again they boast of being able
to improve on human longevity with modern approaches, yet we are made into

drug addicts down to our very last day. And is our quality of life any better in

that way? These are questions plaguing my mind from the time I ceased active

clinical practice.
Traditional approaches to treatment of diseases is to initiate healing and
subsequently rendering the sick free of the diseases suffered. This is something
the pharmaceutical industry would not want to see and would want to spend as
much as they can to campaign against this approach in therapy. Let us explore
how these traditional approaches could help us actually undo the unwellness
in us.
