Much More Pussy ! (2011), the pornographic version of the documentary Too Much Pussy
“When you were born, the doctors said «It’s a girl!»
and you agreed to this sentence so, that you have never stopped adding new meanings to it ever since. You
fell in love with and condemned yourself to this status
to a point of decline and godlessness. The mother, the
saint and the whore, you embody them all and you
carry their cross, and you would easily crucify yourself
for them, so that you could inhabit their bodies.”
After her first novel, Quatrième génération [The
Fourth Generation] (Grasset), Wendy Delorme continues the literary uninhibited exploration of today’s feminism, questioning
gender identity and taking pleasure from the mise-en-scene of bodies in
all their sensuality.
A collection of texts in the form of fiction that articulates itself, with a lively
eloquence, force and freshness, as a sexopolitical manifesto or as pornoliterature, aiming to awake the consciousness of sexual liberation and personal fulfillment in women. The author manages to write with an elegance
consumed in the art of provoking, thus rediscovering a literary genre, the
militant text or the political fiction, only to better overturn it.
Reviews
“This is a book written in the image of its author: it is out of the ordinary
and difficult to qualify. It is a delightful collection of hybrid texts, a mix
between pure fiction and the study of today’s feminism. Written with
«a heavy stomach and a choked-up voice» sometimes, but more often
than that with joy and pleasure, Insurrections ! en territoire sexuel
[Insurrection! In Sexual Territory] is a „sexopolitical” manifesto, just as
much as it is a song of praise to the body and to sensuality, a series of
declarations of love and of hate…
Sometimes discouraged, but never ready to let go, Wendy Delorme
writes, dressed in fishnet stockings and combat boots. After The
Fourth Generation (Grasset, 2007), this is a raw piece of writing that
places itself at the border between novel and account, and a genuine
cry from the heart. And after all those that, in all jumble and disorder,
have inspired it (Monique Wittig and Judith Butler, Colette and George
Sand, Virginie Despentes and Benoîte Groult), Wendy Delorme comes
up with this absolutely necessary text, that of a new generation, the one
of free children, as she calls them.”

La Mère, la Sainte et la Putain - Lettre à Swann
[The Mother, the Saint and the Whore – Letter to
Swann] (Au Diable Vauvert, 2012)
Quatrième génération [The Fourth Generation]
(Grasset, 2007)
The Mother, the Saint and the
Whore: these are the three
faces of a woman that tells a
maternity story, that of a child
made of words, since in this
case the first child is the text,
brought to the world before
the tiny body about to be born.
We follow this free Amazon
through all the stages of her
life, from the moment she falls in love (her wanderings followed by an "organ drop, as when you feel
your heart fall into your stomach") to the moment
she gives birth. These stages, they become a cryout to the three instances mentioned in the title of
this short novel of protest that holds nothing back
while making the suffocating description of all
things violently imposed on the female body.
Marion loves women, but not only.
What she has in common with
transvestites and drag-queens
is knowing that her gender is
conditioned by performance: "In
the morning or in the evening, in
my bathroom, I reinvent myself, I
become a woman, and that is not
biological, it is more a question
of belief." With a great sense of
humor, Marion tells the story of four generations of
women, of four generations of feminism, of childhood, of girls, of queer politics, of love between Paris and San Francisco, as we follow their emotional
and sexual adventures that blur the line between
masculine and feminine.
