While on the home page of the RCASENC MLS, click on the customize home page link in the top right hand corner. 2. From here you can select and deselect from the following windows to appear when you log in. a. 24‐hr market watch i. Single sign on b. Agent tools j. Staff tools c. Appointments and tasks k. Support center d. Client portal activity l. Weather e. Listing locator m. Your listings f. Newly matched listings n. Your office listings g. Office tools o. Your saved hot sheets h. Prospect management p. Your saved searches 3. You can move these windows by moving your cursor over the window until it changes from the pointer to a four direction pointer. You can then click on the window and drag it to any position you wish. 1 Rapattoni How to… Use the single sign on window 1. The first time you try to use the Single Sign on links; you will need to register yourself. The passwords and log on ID’s are below. Make sure you use the correct one, based on what MLS’s you subscribe to. 2. Once you are registered, you can click on any of the provided links and go directly to that program. a. Wilmington MLS – If you subscribe to the Wilmington MLS you will have full access to the Residential MLS. If you do not subscribe to the Wilmington MLS you will be able to see reciprocal information only. b. WRAR IMS – This will take you directly into Internet Member Services, where you can pay your bills or register for classes and events. c. Brunswick MLS ‐ If you subscribe to the Brunswick MLS you will have full access to their MLS. If you do not subscribe to the Brunswick MLS you will be able to see reciprocal information only. d. iMapp – This will take you directly to the iMapp tax data program where you can do searches for any property in New Hanover, Pender or Brunswick County. For example: You can customize the Home page's "24‐hour Market Watch" statistics to include just the areas you are interested in, making this tool even more valuable. To access your Agent Preferences — From the Admin menu, choose Your Preferences. Preferences are organized into tabs (similar to file folders), which can be expanded and collapsed using the plus and minus symbols located on each tab. Be sure to click Save in the MLS toolbar after making any changes. 3 Rapattoni How to… Save a search 1.

Go to Searches and click on any of the searches; quick, standard, custom, map etc. Once you have put together your search click the options tab on the top right. Next name your search, maybe it’s the clients name, or the area, anything will work. Finally click the save button. 4 Rapattoni How to… Create a Custom Search 1. From the Admin menu, choose Custom Search Setup. Or, from the Searches menu, choose Custom and click the Revise Custom Search Setup hyperlink at the top of the Custom Search. 2. Setting up your Custom Search is a two‐step process. First you select fields for the General criteria; then you can select Additional criteria (amenity fields) that you want to include for each property type (optional). See below for details. Step 1: Select general criteria fields 1. Be sure the General tab is active. Fields that are available for your custom search template display on the left. 2. Select the fields you want, and then click the Add button to move them into the search form. (Hold down the Ctrl key to select more than one field at a time.) 3. To remove fields from the search form, select a field, then click the Remove button. 4. Use the Remove All button if you want to remove all of the fields on the search form and begin with a blank form. 5. You can rearrange the fields using the Move buttons; just click on a field in the search form and click Move Up or Move Down as desired. Step 2: Select additional criteria fields (optional) 1. Be sure the Additional tab is active. 2. Use the Property Type field (near the upper right corner of the page) to select a property type. 3. Specify your criteria fields and their display order, then click Save. 4. Repeat this process for another property type, if desired. 5. To save your Custom Search, click Save. 5 Rapattoni How to… Customize the one line grid display 1. After you have done a search you are taken to what is called the “One line Grid”. 2. This screen will show all of the listings that matched your search criteria along with a few fields of data. The default for the data displayed is Status of listings, Price, DOM, Street Address, City, Total Available USF, Min Divisible USF and lot size – Sq Ft. 3. If you would like to change the data displayed after you do your search first click on the Options tab on the top right of your screen. 4. The tab will open up and at the very top click on the white link that says “customize one line grid”. 5. You will then see each property type and have the ability to add or remove data fields from the selected fields box. 6. Once you have selected which data fields you want to display each time you do a search for each listing type, click the Save button. 7. You will need to do this for each property type you wish to customize. Clicking save after you are finished each time. 6 Rapattoni How to… Create a custom export 1. From the home page go to Admin and then scroll down to “Custom Export Setup”. 2. At the top left click on the button that says “Create Export”. 3. You will then be able to name your export, what format you would like to save it (Excel .csv exports into excel), and more. 4. When you have your layout set up click Save in the top left. 5. You will then be taken to the data field selection screen. Here you can click on what data you want to export. When you are finished click save. 6. To use your newly created export, go to searches and perform a search. Instead of clicking search, click exports. 7. Finally click Submit. A link will appear in a new window where you can download the file to your computer. 7 Rapattoni How to… Input a leased property with a scheduled commission 1. Go to Listings and click on “Enter New Listings”. 2. Enter your property type, County and PID. 3. Fill in the data for your leased property. Once you get to commission you will fill in the information and click on yes in the schedule attached box. 4. Once you have completed your listing information, upload and attach a pdf to your listing with the commission schedule. 8 Rapattoni How to… Attach a document to a listing 1. First input your listing. 2. From the home page you can pull up your listing by mls #, using the “Your Listings” module, or by going to Listings and clicking on “View/Revise Your Listings”. 3.

Click on the revise listing icon Under the “Other” heading click on “Attach External Document” You will then see a list of Documents that can be attached to your listing. If you do not see the name of a document you want to attach contact RCASENC staff and they can add it to the system. 9 Rapattoni How to… Use the map application 1. To get to the Map you must pull up a listing(s) in the system. One way to do this is to do go to the standard search and put together a search for the property type you are looking for. 2. Instead of clicking Search click the Map button. 3. This will pull up a new window with the map display and all of the listings that match your search criteria. 4. On the top left you will see a zoom bar to zoom in and out with, as well as a street view, aerial view, hybrid view, and a bird’s eye view which is 360 degree views of buildings, really cool. 5. On the right hand side you will see a column of tools. In this area you are able to place makers on the map, create directions to different locations, pull up map layers, print labels based on parcels you select and take measurements on the map. 6. Map Layers will probably be the most used feature. Certain layers become visible as you scroll in enough on your map. You will notice the layer titles will change from being grayed out. Tax search‐ a. From the Home screen click on the Tax menu and then click on Tax Search. b. From here you can put in your search criteria. c. Next you will be taken to a screen with the results of your search. Click on the PID number for the address you are interested in to find the tax information available on that property. 2. Tax information with a listing pulled up‐ a. While on the listing information page click on County Links. If you do not see this on the listing you are looking at, it means that listing was not “linked to tax” when the agent put it into the system. b. From here you click on the iMapp link, and it will take you directly into the iMapp program and the tax data for that property. c. If you want to see the county information click on the link for the PIN/PID in the top left corner. 11 Rapattoni How to… Find tax information Cont. d. You can also pull up a tax information display by simply clicking on the blue hyperlinked PID Number found on all tax linked listings. 3. Using iMapp to find tax information‐ a. From the home page of the MLS, click on the iMapp Single Sign on button. b. From here you are able to do a Tax Search, MLS Search, or Commercial Search. c. You can use the drop down search criteria to perform your search, he map option and select an area to look in, or combine the drop down criteria and specify with the map what area you are interested in searching. d. Once you complete your search you will be taken to a new page with brief descriptions for every listing that matches your criteria. e. From this page you can pull up the full tax description for each property by clicking on the PID/PIN number on the right of each listing description. f. From here you can… v. And more… 12 Rapattoni How to… Use the Listing Cart Adding Listings to your Cart ‐ You can add listings to the Listing Cart from any search results page or other page where listings display. To add listings to your Cart 1. Select the listings you want (by selecting their check boxes). 2. Click the Add to Cart button. 3. A confirmation dialog box displays the number of listings that were added. Once you add listings to your cart, you can: Run Reports 1. Use the check boxes on the left to select the listings you want to include in a report. 2. Click the Reports button in the MLS toolbar. A list of available reports displays in a new window. 3. Select the desired report(s), and then click the Run Reports button. Export the listings 1. Use the check boxes on the left to select the listings you want to export. 2. Click the Exports button in the MLS toolbar. A list of available exports displays. 3. Select the desired export, and click the Submit button in the MLS toolbar. Map listings 1. Use the check boxes on the left to select the listings you want to plot on a map. 2. Click the Map button in the MLS toolbar. 3. The Map Listings window displays. E‐mail listings to someone 1. Use the check boxes on the left to select the listings you want to e‐mail. 2. Click the E‐mail button in the MLS toolbar. Select a report option, and click Submit. 3. Fill in the E‐mail Listings form, and then click the Send E‐mail button. Remove listings from the cart 1. To remove unwanted listings, first make sure all listings are selected EXCEPT the ones you want to delete. 2.
Expand the Options pane. Use the Remove Unchecked link(s) located in the Selection Options box. Alternately, you can click the Empty button in the toolbar if you want to remove ALL listings from the cart. 13 Rapattoni How to… Create a Prospect/Contact 1. From any page on the MLS go to Contacts and then click on Contact/Prospects. 2. At the top left you will see a blue hyperlink that says “Create New Contact”. 3. From the Create New Contact page, input the information for your contact/prospect. Make sure to check “Manage as a Prospect” if you want to be able to create a search for this person. 4. Under the “Prospect Options” on this page, choose whether you want to have listings that match your prospects needs emailed to you, emailed to both of you, or you can create a “client portal”. A client portal is a personalized web page your client can check anytime. 5. Next you will be taken to the search set up page. From here you choose what type of search you want to do for your client, quick, standard, custom, map etc. 6. Then set up your search criteria and hit search. You will then see how many current listings match those criteria. 14
