From Gina Kemper about the Zoppe’ Italian Family Circus
Hi AII,
I wanted to reach out one last time to the ltalian community and give you all an update on our ltalian treasure
coming to Colorado - the Zoppe' ltalian Family Circus. The Zoppe's are en route to Colorado from New York and
will roll into Wheat Ridge by Monday morning. Work begins very quickly with the lot layout and tent poles going up
on Monday afternoon and the tent raising is Tuesday with the inside finished on Wednesday. The wine tent has
been ordered and will be set up on Thursday with beautiful flowers qnd a fountain coming to create our ltalian Village. La Famiglia and Guadagni wines and Peroni Beer have sponsored the wine and beer garden and they are
excited to be a part of the event. ltalian food (sausage and peppers of course) and gelato will be available for every performance - it is all in the works and coming together for opening day which is Friday, August 15th with the
45th Annual Carnation Festival. The Zoppe' Circus engagement continues through August 24th with 13 performances at Anderson Park (4355 Field St).
Many of you have jumped on board and are in the ltalian Brigade which will lead the Carnation Festival parade
down 38th Avenue or you are supporting the circus with a banner sponsorship or have bought tickets for your
group. I personally appreciate the community coming together to keep this ltalian Circus coming to Colorado. I still
have tickets available for the ltalian Night on Wed, August 20th for the 7pm performance and I hope you will join
us for a wonderful time as a community. I have several General Admission tickets at half off (only Sa.SOtl but very
few VIP left at the S13 price so nearly sold out on VlP. Act quickly if you want VIP tickets (chair seating). I am still
a few hundred dollars short on sponsorship and hoping a few more groups will come forward this week to help me
meet the goal. lf you can't sponsor then be sure to buy tickets for your family and join us for a wonderful experience.
The supporting acts this year are great! The foot jugglers are amazing - I have seen them once before and they
are something to seel Think about how hard it is to juggle with your hands then try and do it with your feet? it's just
unreal. That's just one of the great acts joining the Zoppe' family this year. On behalf of the Zoppe' family-Giovanni, Tosca, Jay, Carla, Rudy and of course Mama Zoppe'. We greatly appreciate your support to keep them
coming to Colorado. lt's a long trek from New York but they absolutely love Colorado and look forward to this stop
all yearl
Just a quick shout out and Thank You to the 2014 "ltalian" Friends of Zoppe" - I know there may be a few others in
the parade I am missing as I don't have that list just yet from the parade committee but I do know our list of Italian
supporters is growing and that’s exciting! lt's not too late to join in! Call me at 3O3.726.6111" or email if you want
to join the Friends of Zoppe' and help us meet our sponsorship goal and keep the Zoppe's in Coloradol
