Dr. George Cope - Director of Church Ministries, Vision Orlando
Dr. George Cope, the son of an Assembly of God pastor, was called to
full-time ministry at age 13 at a church youth camp. He has his B.A. in
Biblical Studies, an M.A. in Leadership Studies, and a Doctorate of Ministries
in Leadership from Gordon-Conwell. After serving churches in Illinois,
George served as Pastor of Bethany Assembly of God in Agawam, MA, for 9
½ years and as Assistant District Superintendent for Assembly of God.
George then served as President of Zion Bible College in Barrington, RI, from
2000-2005. George served as Pastor of a large Orlando church, Calvary
Assembly. He currently serves as Director of Church Ministries at Vision
Orlando, founded over 20 years ago by a few concerned local pastors and
Dr. Bill Bright (Campus Crusade) & Dr. Steve Clinton, V.O. President. He has
traveled extensively overseas in ministry and on mission trips.
