COOK-OFF INFORMATION:
• Entry: Noon to 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 4.
• Preregistration ONLY: Limited spots at location. First come, first pick day of the event.
• Submitting Form: Please email form to [email protected] and pay by credit card
by calling 361-552-9793 ext 237 or mail form to: 2300 Hwy. 35 N., Port Lavaca, TX. Checks
payable to: The City of Port Lavaca. If entering by mail, entries must be postmarked by Aug.
21, 2015. Any payments made the day of event must be made in cash.
• Inspection: All meats subject to inspection.
• Garnishing: Welcome on Margaritas and Chef’s Choice only.
• Please Note: No electricity or water will be available.
• Player’s Pool: Flat fee $50 cash buy-in. Paying 90% back to cooks in meat categories 1st-3rd.
• Festival: Live music, sand sculptor, arts & craft vendors, food vendors, and a kid zone with a
splash pad, rides and carnival games! Alcohol you bring is only allowed in cook-off area. Beer
and frozen drinks will be available for purchase in the festival area.

Chamber of Commerce, the City of Port Lavaca, its committee, workers and volunteers, and any individual or organization in charge
of or connected with the Port Lavaca Chamber or City of Port Lavaca from any and all claims and/or liability from any accident, injury, damage or loss incurred or suffered by me or anyone in my charge or care regardless of the nature of the cause, and I further agree
to indemnify and hold harmless the Port Lavaca Chamber, City of Port Lavaca, its committee, workers, and volunteers for any and all
damages, costs, charges, expenses, legal fees, or any other loss or expense incurred by said organization or individuals connected therewith resulting from any acts or actions on my part or anyone in my charge whether such acts were intentional, accidental or negligent
