Spring has finally arrived and summer will be here before we know it. As the warmer
weather arrives and traveling conditions improve, we would like for you to stop in and
check out what each of our locations has to offer. As you travel down the road on Tuesdays
and Fridays stop by Branch, Manitowoc Rapids, Mishicot and Valders to get some fresh
cheese curds in ½# or 1# bags. The Cheese Nook in Branch also offers a huge selection of
cheese for all your party needs. During the months of mid-May thru September, stop in at
the BP in Greenleaf to grab a bowl, waffle cone or cake cone of Cedar Crest Ice Cream. The
stations all offer a variety of snacks, candy, soda, beer and water. Food services including
Subway, Hot Stuff Pizza, Piccadilly Pizza and A & W are available at some of the locations
and the Reedsville C-Store features an impressive salad bar for a healthy lunch.
Looking for a quick gift that everyone can use? How about a gift card? The BP stations offer gift cards in denominations of $25, $50 or $100. Gift cards are available in any amount
up to $150 at the Cenex stations. Other gift and phone cards are available at select locations. Cenex gift cards are also awarded in the Tanks of Thanks promotion where people
are nominated for their good deeds. You can help us give some extra mileage to those
who go “the extra mile” in your community by nominating them at tanksofthanks.com.
Non-ethanol fuel is excellent for boats, motorcycles, and small engines as well as some
automobiles. Our Cenex stations located in Branch, Kiel, Manitowoc Rapids, Mishicot,
Reedsville and Valders offer non-ethanol fuel in the mid-grade and premium line. The
Greenleaf C-Store and DePere store are BP branded and have premium grade non-ethanol fuel.
All of the Country Visions Convenience Stores would like to thank you for your patronage and look forward to your continued support. We hope to see you soon in one of our
locations.

Your Cooperative is seven months into our first fiscal year
since the merger of Agri-Partners and Country Visions Cooperative. Most of the “start-up” related issues with the
merger are behind us at this point, but we are continuing
to mold the operation into a more efficient company which
will provide many benefits to you the member owner.

Since this past fall, your Board of Directors and Management have been working
to shape your Cooperative into a supplier that will meet the needs of our changing
agricultural environment and growth of our non-ag business. This past winter your
Cooperative has sold the properties in both Cleveland, which was the office location of the former Cleveland Co-op and Chilton, which was the office location of the
former Coop Service Oil Company. As we exit these old sites, we have made major
investments at our other locations. In this fiscal year, the Board has approved approximately $10 million in asset purchases. In addition to rolling stock, equipment,
building additions and technology, a grain expansion in Valders and a liquid fertilizer build in Chilton are under construction. These additions will speed up service to
our farmers during the busy planting and harvesting seasons.
The Board has established a mission and vision statement as guide and goal for our
Cooperative. The mission statement of Country Visions is to be your preferred partner through innovative products and services. The vision statement is to be the best
Cooperative in Wisconsin through commitment to our employees, growth and strategic investment. “Forward”! We will use these statements as we strive to reach our
short and long term goals as your member-owned Cooperative.
Thank you again for your business and have a safe and productive spring!

Credit Corner
The snow has finally melted and we are ready to head into the spring planting season. It is important for everyone lining up their planting needs to have their crop input financing all lined up as well. If you are looking for financing options for this year or are carrying a balance from last year, please meet with us at your earliest convenience. We do offer options that include Agri-Span, CFA and John Deere Farm Plan that are worth taking a look at.
I would also like to remind everyone that purchases that are charged to your Country Visions account need to
be paid within our credit terms. Account balances that are not kept current will pay an extra 1.5% (18% APR)
monthly finance charge on the past due balance. Give us a call if you have any questions regarding your account
or our credit terms and policies.

Do you enjoy watching the birds in your yard? The stores carry wild bird feed and
feeders to attract a variety of species.
Gift and garden décor is part of the seasonal display at the Reedsville Country Store.
Country Stores
As the cold winds blew us into April, we had hopes that spring
weather would soon be upon us. The Country Stores have been
busy preparing for all your springtime needs. The garden seeds
and fertilizers have arrived and the set onions and seed potatoes
will be stocked soon.
As spring weather arrives, the chick orders are already being
placed. Make sure you stop in and get all your essential needs to
make your flock the envy of the neighborhood. We carry a great
line of chick starters, layer feed and treats for your feathered
friends; in addition to waterers, vitamins and electrolytes. We
will also be stocking Honor show feeds again this year; check with your local location for
product availability or with one of the livestock feed specialists that we have on staff.
The robins and other wild birds have returned from their winter homes. Stop in and check
out the huge selection of feeders and seed available at your local Country Store. Hummingbird and oriole feeders are also in stock, as we patiently await their arrival.
The Country Store in Reedsville has also brought in a line of gift and garden décor for special occasions, holidays and birthdays. Coffee has been a treasured addition with everyday
and seasonal flavors available.
All of the store locations carry a variety of products and offer different services. If you do
not see something or have special requests, be sure to ask. If the product is available, it
could easily be brought to the location that best meets your need.
Matt Buchholz — Reedsville Country Store Manager
Country Visions can help with feed products at nine store locations. With two consumer feed specialists on staff and helpful
sales people they can provide feeding solutions for pets, hobby/show animals and
wild birds. Customers can order chicks at
the stores and purchase all the products

Has it really been seven months since our merger? Time does fly! At this time I would like to
bring you up to date on the merger plan and how it’s going forward.
On the agronomy side, we have purchased a 24 ton and an 18 ton tender and chassis to assist
in the Valders and Kiel areas. The Kiel plant is being closed and will be razed this summer.
Since last fall, phone calls coming into the Kiel location have been forwarded to the Valders
plant. The same will be happening this spring at Mishicot’s agronomy location, with the
phone calls being answered at Rockwood.
Country Visions’ staff is striving to have fertilizer delivery and spreading and spraying application done by those facilities closest to the fields. We have purchased new sprayers and new
semi tankers to support these rigs. We have added two row crop fertilizer spreaders to keep
up with the growing business of custom application for spreading urea over corn. We have
updated liquid fertilizer dykes, tanks and load out facilities at Chilton, Rockwood, Valders
and Fond du Lac. All these changes will benefit you, the customer. These changes should
not affect the relationship you have with your existing crop advisor. Our goal is to provide
services to you in an efficient and time-saving manner.
A large nurse tank system is being worked
on at the Valders agronomy plant.
CV-Precision
Learning is the Key to Variable Rate
Management
A couple areas that continue to grow are in the Precision Planting equipment and Country Visions Precision. On the Precision Planting side we have a team working on updating planters
with 20/20 Seed Sense for population control, e-sets and v-sets for spacing and singulation
that makes every seed count. Paul Diederichs, Al Weckworth, Chad Rataichek and Dustin
Gierach are dedicated to get all the sold units ready for spring. The Country Visions Precision
works with data you collect off your combine. It takes that information, along with soil test
maps, weather maps and other data, and serves as an aid so you can fine tune cropping decisions. Farmers using this technology can check out Dan Frieberg’s article in the back section
of Corn & Soybean Digest Monthly, or have a conversation with any of our agronomists.
Country Visions is pleased to announce the
launch of Country Visions Precision - our
streamlined platform for all aspects of precision agriculture going forward. CV-Precision
includes; Precisions Planting equipment, GPS
guidance systems, VRT planting prescriptions,
VRT spreading prescriptions (N, P, K, & lime),
yield data collection and storage.
We welcome new employees and changes in job positions in the agronomy division. New
agronomists include Andrew Hynek at Chilton; Braden Porter at Rockwood; Steven Feldkamp at Greenleaf; and Adam Kolb at Kiel. New office staff includes employees Tracy Levash
at Greenleaf and Tanya Heinen at Valders. Jeremy Edwards will be in the Rockwood office
this spring as asst. plant manager. Jessy Hill is the new manager at Reedsville. John O’Brien,
Joe Vander Grinten and Andy Husnick have been relocated from Malone feed to the agronomy
facilities at Malone and Fond du Lac. Will Jetton II and Nathan Korinek will be working at
Rockwood. Brad Kocurek has become fulltime at Reedsville, along with Andrew Knoener at
Kiel, and Joshua Mangin and Spenser Halverson at Valders. We welcome all these members to
our great employee base.
CV-Precision will be available in two levels: NutriCalc is designed for the entry level growers
who only want to make VRT fertilizer applications based upon grid sampled soil tests results
and soil type yield potential. The Complete
Analysis program will additionally include VRT
planting, GPS yield mapping (combines & forage
harvesters), and yearly validation through infield Learning Blocks.
On the grain side we are also making improvements. At Chilton we are adding on to the dryer to increase drying capacity. The Valders location will be adding a new 4700 bph dryer, a
600,000 bushel bin and new unload equipment. Last year, with a very small wheat harvest
and later corn crop harvesting, your co-op was full by the end of November. We were trucking
grain from facilities well into December. With continued growth and the reasons just listed,
we felt these improvements needed to be made to better serve you during the busy fall harvest season.
The goal of this program is to take producers
from a flat-rate field-based management system to dynamic management zones as small as
sixty square feet. This allows us to target applications of inputs within high-med-low management zones, capitalizing on management zone
response to maximize yields, and result in more
efficient use of seed, fertilizer, and lime.
The key to our program is the ability to use the

Collection and handling of the data recorded by
planting and harvesting equipment can be a challenge. As part of the program’s service we will help
gather and store planting & harvest data for use in
the program and as a backup to unforeseen losses. You will always own your data, it is only pooled
with permission, never shared with a third party,
and pooled data belongs to and is for the benefit
of the growers of that shared data. Contact your

Construction of the new liquid load out facility at the Chilton Agronomy plant
will decrease load time for liquid fertilizers and chemicals.
Agronomy
Construction is under way at our Chilton location creating a new liquid load out
facility. The 80’ x 100’ building will have a loading dock for storage of package chemicals along with two load out bays for liquid fertilizer and chemicals. Doubling the
lanes of traffic and the ability to overhead load two units at once will decrease load
time. Adding to this efficiency is the use of 400 gpm pumps vs. our 180 gpm pumps
of the past.
A calibrated mass flow meter will weigh product, instead of going through a manual
meter, as it dispenses. The new equipment will record the data in software that interfaces with our current accounting package, eliminating the need for scale slips to
be hand entered. We will have the ability to batch chemicals and “Hot Load” tender
sprayers, increasing capacity and efficiency.
Improvements are being made to the grain
system at the Chilton location to increase
drying capacity.
The Chilton plant will now have the capacity to serve customers in a 35 mile radius. The Agronomy Division continues to react to the needs of their customers with
improvements of services and have started making plans for future upgrades with
an area designated for a liquid blender and a goal of 24/7 loading in one lane for 1034-0 and 32%.

Grain Department
Spring is here and a new crop is about to be put in the ground. Are we
springing into action with our marketing plans or looking for a reason
to wait? This spring looks to be another interesting one for grain marketers. There are a lot of analysts and economists filling the internet
with plenty of news and numbers.
Which number do you focus on to be successful? There is so much volatility in commodity prices and so many distractions created as a result, that the only way to get to a place where you are confident taking
action is to get back to one simple number - DESIRED PROFIT! Profit is
influenced by all the variables of inputs and prices. Everybody’s number is different and therefore the price that grain is sold will be different. “Desired Profit” is a goal, a decision, and a plan all rolled into one
number. It has to be realistic to be effective, but it is powerful.
We need to focus on a good profit. Have you ever sold at the absolute
top of the market? If you have, or know someone that has, how is that
typically described? Most refer to this as being really lucky. The reality is that, for most, this is a once in a lifetime event. It does not really
make sense to have this as a goal. What does make sense is paying
attention to profit.
With the unrest going on in Russia with Ukraine, it gets the volatility
in the market going wild. We, at Country Visions Cooperative want to
help you in whatever way we can to get you a profitable price. Your
Co-op will be making some major improvements at our Valders location for the upcoming harvest. A new 4700 bu/hr dryer is being put in
with faster unloading at the dump pits. Also a 600,000 bu. bin will be
erected to help with additional space for your grain.
We are here to help you become consistently profitable farmers year
after year. Long term success in farming happens when excellent production practices are combined with disciplined marketing practices.
Let us help you with your marketing abilities to get good profitable
outcomes.

Propane
The issue I would like to address in this newsletter is one that has made local and
national news; it is the Propane situation that hit both us and our customers this
winter. Every once in a while you are confronted with situations that occur that
make you aware of just how vital a responsible and respectful supplier can be. This
is what happened this year. We contract and pull most of our gallons from Cenex
Harvest States (CHS, Inc). CHS is our regional cooperative that we own and is a
major supplier for Refined Fuels and Propane. While there were times when it was
hard to find Propane during this situation, our supplier came through for us. They
worked with us day and, sometimes nights, to supply our bulk storage tanks with
Propane. Even though we were put on allocation, which in turn affected the amount
of gallons we could deliver to our customers, not once, did we completely run out of
Propane to heat the homes we were obligated to service. It was a stark reminder
of just how important a supplier can be to keep your business operating and your
homes heated when the going really does get rough. Many Propane retailers did
not honor the contracts that they had signed with their customers and some even
refused to purchase the high price wholesale gas to deliver to their home heat customers. I am happy to report that we were not affiliated with this group. Country
Visions honored their contracts and delivered the propane so that not one home
went without heat. Soon all of this will be a distant memory, but not for me. We

their hard work and extra time.
We experienced some supply distribution problems
in the Midwest, so we had to go to terminals as far
away as New Mexico, Kansas and Nebraska to get our
propane supply. There were three main reasons for
the supply and distribution problems. First, there
was more propane exported due to world market
prices and demand in other countries. Second, the
corn crop which “Mother Nature” didn’t dry down
used a large amount of propane for drying. The
third reason was the weather. Before deer hunting
season the cold weather came and as I write this in
early April, it was still here. We all know what happened to the price because of the restricted supply
and the extra trucking charges. Efforts are being
made to correct that, so it doesn’t happen again. We
are going to install a refueler on Highway 141 just
north of Wausaukee to help with supply and future
growth in that area.
By delivering limited amounts or short filling the Bill Hoeltke — V.P. Energy and Retail
tanks we were able to get through the season. We
honored our contract prices with our customers and
did not add on delivery fees or surcharges as some
competitors did. I want to thank our customers for
their patience, understanding and your efforts to
conserve fuel. We appreciate you as a customer and
want to continue to serve your needs in the future.

Cenex Premium Diesel Fuel Pays
If you’ve been using standard diesel for years, you may be skeptical about whether “premium” fuels are worth the added cost. But consider this: over time, your engine’s fuel pump
and injectors get dirty—a gradual, hard-to-notice process that reduces both engine performance and fuel economy. Standard diesel fuel contains no additives to reduce wear, extend
storage life or reduce the formation of gum, varnish and corrosion.
As a Certified Energy Specialist at Country Visions Cooperative I recommend Cenex
Premium Diesel Fuels. They’re specially formulated to clean your fuel system and keep it
clean for maximum power and performance. A clean fuel system provides many benefits,
including improved fuel economy, better horsepower and extended life of fuel pumps and
injectors. Cenex Premium Diesel Fuels deliver additional benefits too – including better lubricity (to protect vital engine parts), quicker starts and reduced emissions for cleaner air.
Does your fuel supplier call their diesel a “premium” diesel? Can they provide you with
the list of benefits? What exactly makes their product a premium? No other diesel fuel
contains a more complete, balanced and quality package of additives than Cenex Premium
Diesel Fuels. And we will provide you with the FACTS to back it up!
A new fuel tank is secured in the back of
the service truck for delivery to a customer. Contact Country Visions bulk petroleum
