IPTCE13 IN BRIEF
International Polymer Technology Conference and Exhibition 2013
(IPTCE13) will take place in Shah Alam, Malaysia from 16-17 April
2013. IPTCE 13 will assemble an international community of participants for the presentation of recent advances in polymer technology,
the physical characterization and advanced performance attributes of
both synthetic and biological polymeric material. IPTCE 13 is organized jointly by Polymer Technology Program, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA and German Alumni Association
Malaysia (GAAM). The co-sponsors of the events are German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and supported by international polymer industry such as Continental Tyre, Bayer, NAZA and Vistec Technology
Services.
“POLYMER IN AUTOMOTIVE AND TYRE
INDUSTRY :
PRESENT AND FUTURE TRENDS”
The theme of the conference is “Polymer in Automotive and Tyre
Industry – Present and Future Trends”. This theme is chosen with the
view that the Malaysian’s Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) in the
automotive and tyre sectors play significant role in the Malaysian
exports of rubber products. These Small Medium Enterprise (SME)
act as vendors to supply automotive components to PERODUA and
PROTON and other automotive industries. Apart from the National
Car manufacturers, we have big names in the automotive industry
such as the Mercedes, the BMW and the Volkswagen of Germany
operating in Malaysia.
Eminent Professors, Scientists and Technologists are invited as Keynote Speaker/Invited Speaker to deliver the latest information in their
respective expertise areas. This is a golden opportunity for the SME,
students, vendors and academicians to interact with the experts and
tap their knowledge and information.
OBJECTIVES
To provide opportunities for researchers in field of polymeric
materials to share and exchange ideas with each other.
To establish relationship and foster cooperation between
academicians, scientist, researchers and engineers from the fields of
polymeric materials.
Share and discuss the results of the study, knowledge and
information and activities related the phenomenon of polymeric
materials and technology.

REGISTRATION FEES
On behalf of the organizing committee, we invite you to
submit an abstract either for oral or poster presentation in
English not exceeding 300 words using Microsoft Wordreadable format.
The abstract should consist of:
 Title of paper

Name and address of authors

Maximum of 5 keywords (The abstract should be sent
by email to the conference secretariat)
The fee will cover conference materials, lunches and refreshments. Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to
participants who have successfully attended the conference.
The paper should be written in MS WORD format. Arial font
size 10, single spacing and not more than 6 pages (A4 paper). Text will generally consists of sections such as
Abstract, Introduction, Experimental, Results and
Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgments and References.
Selected paper will be published in international journals
such as Journal of Rubber Research, Advanced Materials
Research and Polymer Research Journal.
