If you are flying to Toronto Pearson International
Airport from an international destination, you
will arrive at Terminal 1.
Taxi Cab
From the arrivals area on Level 1, exit the
terminal and find the Taxi Stop. When a taxi
arrives, tell them which hotel you are going to
and the address listed in the HOTELS section.
Ask them for a flat rate and make sure it is
close to the cost estimated below.
Cost: ~$55.00 CDN (flat-rate, +15% tip is customary)
Time: 30-45 minutes
Downtown Airport Express Bus
From the arrivals area on Level 1, exit the
terminal and wait for the Downtown Airport
Express. The bus operates on weekdays from
7:00am - 11:05pm every 40 minutes, and
on weekends from 7:05am - 11:15pm every
hour. Visit the website to purchase tickets in
advance. When the bus arrives, tell them you
are going to Bond Place Hotel. Once you arrive
either walk or taxi to your hotel.
Cost: $27.95 CDN (single); $25.00 (student);
$21.00 (2 or more tickets)
Time: 45-60 minutes
Web: http://www.torontoairportexpress.com/
**Note: This bus is not the most reliable
method – it is traffic and schedule dependent.
If you are two or more people, it is worthwhile
to take a cab.
Public Transit – TTC:
Leaving Toronto
THINGS TO DO
Proceed to the Ground Level for ground
transportation. Go outside and find column
R4 (TTC Stop). Wait for bus 192 – ROCKET
to Kipling Subway Station. Enter the subway
station and proceed to the EASTBOUND
platform. Take the subway EAST to YONGE
station. At this station, you will transfer to
the YONGE-UNIVERSITY-SPADINA subway
line. Proceed to the SOUTHBOUND platform.
Depending on the location of your hotel, you
will get off between COLLEGE and QUEEN
station. Exit the station and walk or taxi to your
hotel.
Please note that traffic toward the airport can
be heavy due to ongoing construction. The
recommendation is to leave the hotel/university
at least 3.5 to 4 hours before the flight time. If
you are travelling through the US you will go
through customs at the Toronto Airport, which
will also require extra time.
