DR PATRICK GOH
DR ROLAND CHONG
Dr. Patrick Goh is a registered specialist in Sports Medicine, currently in private practice with Sports Medicine
International at Camden Medical Centre. He received his medical degree from NUS in 1984 before going on
to further studies in Sports Medicine in the USA.
Dr Roland Chong is an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Roland Shoulder & Orthopaedic Clinic at Mount Elizabeth
Novena Specialists Centre with a main interest in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. He is trained to manage all
shoulder and elbow injuries ranging from trauma to sports and shoulder and elbow joint replacements. He
also has a similar interest in Lower Limb Sports injuries.

In addition Dr. Goh is currently Co-Chair of the Sports Medicine Subspeciality Training Committee under the
Ministry of Health. He is interim chair of the Sports Medicine Section of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
He is a faculty member of The Ortho-Biologic Institute based in Los Angeles. He also holds the appointment
of Chair of the Institutional Review Board for Temasek Polytechnic, and Deputy Chair for the institutional
review board of the Singapore Armed Forces and the Defence Science Organisation.

In addition to arthroscopic shoulder surgery, he offers solutions for irreparable rotator cuff tears by performing periscapular tendon transfers. He also provided arthroplasties solutions for elbow and shoulder trauma,
rheumatic arthritis and other degenerative conditions such as bipolar radial head replacements, total elbow
and shoulder replacements and reverse shoulder replacements.
Dr Goh swims 4 times a week as part of his fitness routine and has a keen interest in swimmers’ shoulders and
performance.
Dr Chong maintains an active fitness routine by cycling weekly and working out in the gym daily.

MR CHNG CHYE TUAN

Kelvin is a personal trainer with Core Concepts Physiotherapy Group, with a focus in functional training to
help clients move better, pain-free. He is a certified Human Foundations practitioner that specialises in
improving human movement mechanics by addressing postural deficiencies and instilling efficient
movement patterns.
Kelvin's four years of experience in the fitness industry also includes muay thai (individual/group training)
and bootcamp training.
Kelvin’s areas of interests are in sports injuries and functional rehab.
Principal Physiotherapist, Bachelor of Physiotherapy, University of South Australia
Chye Tuan is the Principal Physiotherapist with Core Concepts Physiotherapy Group. Equipped with a
Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia, Chye Tuan built his professional
career working at reputable institutions such as Singapore General Hospital, Alexandra Hospital’s Sports
Clinic and the Football Association of Singapore where he covered for the National Youth Teams.
Being an avid sports person himself, Chye Tuan carries over his passion for sports into the arena of management and prevention of sports injuries. He has to his credit several public appearances on local TV and radio
where he has spoken on matters related to fitness and health.
