THE PROPERTY
Built in the 1950’s as the village rectory and sold by the Diocesan Board in 2002, it remains only one of a handful of
freehold properties in the village.
The location is striking; its elevated south facing position enjoys lovely views of the church, adjoining fields and
down towards the centre of the village.
In 2002 the house was the subject of a complete overhaul; the layout was adapted and a clever extension was added
above the integral garage.
The present owners however could see far more potential and have transformed the house into something very
special; it now boasts a glorious spacious layout – the main reception rooms are open plan and have a contemporary
element, while retaining the sense of a character dwelling.
