INTRODUCTION
Do you find it frustrating that the
conservatory you envisaged as an
extension of your home, isn’t usable in
the winter because it’s freezing cold?
And turns into a stuffy furnace on hot
summer’s days?
You have probably also noticed that:
• It’s Too Noisy in rainy weather (and
being Britain that’s a lot of the
time), meaning you can’t hear the
TV or Radio.
• There is Too Much Glare in direct
sunlight.
• It suffers from build-up of airborne
dirt, meaning you’re constantly
cleaning
• It’s essentially a waste of valuable
living space.
Replacing your conservatory roof
with an insulated, tiled roof turns your
conservatory into an all year sunroom
which is quiet, cosy and relaxing.
You have two options when doing this:
• You can have a traditional roof
installed, similar to that on your
home. Your existing conservatory
frame is unlikely to support the
weight however, so you will need to reinforce it with
brick or steel. This will take considerable time and
money.
• Retrofit a lightweight aluminium roof system, such as
SUPALITE onto existing conservatory window frames.
This is a more cost effective solution and can be
fitted in just 4 days.
Below You’ll Find The 5 Key Things You Need
To Consider When Considering A Lightweight
Aluminium SUPALITE Roof System.
1: Choosing A Roof Style
Choose a roof style that best suits the
appearance of your home.
Victorian – Classic and elegant, one of the most
popular styles.
Edwardian – Simple and classic lines of a traditional
Edwardian style.
Gable – Maximise the available interior space and
light.
2: Choosing A Tile Colour
Choose from a range of roof tiles and colours to match
your home.

locked, allowing easy and safe cleaning of the outer
pane to be carried out.

A Plasterer will skim the whole roof. Once this has dried
it is ready to be painted in whatever colour you desire.
