Greetings from Kindergarten!
Yesterday, April 7th, was the Omei Basketball competition. These competitions are sooo much fun. I still
remember the Hula Hoop one, when my sister Vivian won 1st place.
Today every student had to dribble and shoot hoops. The winner for the dribbling was the new student, whose
name is Wang Rei. His record was 214 dribbles in 1min. This is superior dribbling compared to my dribbling.
When it was my turn, I felt nervous, but my friends cheered me on. In the end I did ok – I got 112 dribbles.
For the hoops everyone had to shoot three times. I didn’t make any hoops, because I never play basketball, but
other people were really good. One of my friends got 1 hoop and another - 2 hoops.
The whole event was a lot of fun – when someone was up, everyone would get excited and started to encourage
them. Even the teachers, who were the judges, got excited.
All in all, I think this was a good and fun experience for everyone.
