The address for the venue June 7-9 is Brinellvägen 8, for June 10 – Drottning Kristinas
Väg 30. The buildings are situated very close to each other.

On territory of the campus wireless internet access will be provided.
During June 8, 9:00 – 12:30 2 workshops will be offered for the training participants. For
the workshop, the team will be divided in two groups.
Please, read the information about the workshops attached to this programme.

June 8 16:00 – 20:00 KTH offers boat trip in the Stockholm archipelago. We will travel
together from KTH to boat. In framework of the trip a traditional Swedish dinner will be
offered. As it is still early summer in Stockholm, regardless to the weather conditions June
8, please, bring a jacket with you for the boat trip as the summer evening can get too cold.
Below you can find some additional information which might be useful during your stay in
Stockholm.
Please, be aware that the weather in Stockholm is very unpredictable in the
beginning of June, from sunshine and 25 degrees Celsius to rain and even frost
sometimes. It is recommended to have an umbrella with you when going out.

Transportation:
Transfer by taxi from the airport to your hotel, and from your hotel to the airport, is
included in your travel expenses. If you are interested in booking a taxi from the airport
to the hotel, please send an email to Victor Kordas WITH THE FLIGHT DETAILS:
[email protected]
Public transportation:
In Stockholm we mainly use public transportation. Taxi is terribly expensive. The name of
the transportation company is Stockholms lokaltrafik, SL, website www.sl.se The website is
in Swedish. If you have questions please contact SL through their customer chat
https://sl.se/sv/kundservice/
The SL company provides a subway system, a bus system, commuter trains, some trams
and one ferry boat line. You have to buy the electronic card that is called “SL Access-kort”,
it is a rechargeable “smartcard”, and costs SEK 20. It is good to prepay for public
transportation. You can charge your card for unlimited number of trips during 24 hrs from
first trip (SEK 115), unlimited number of trips during three days (SEK 230) or unlimited
number of trips during seven days (SEK 300), or just single tickets to the amount of your
choice, but at least SEK 100. One single trip within the centre circle of Stockholm costs
SEK 25 if you have charged your SL Access-card. You can buy the card and charge is at
SL-centers, at the shops called Pressbyrån, and at some other shops. (At the airport
Arlanda, you can buy and charge the card at Pressbyrån.) There are numerous Pressbyrånshops around Stockholm, and the business hours are generous.
Money:
Most Swedes use Mastercard or Visacard or cash. You can change money at Forex, which
is a well-known service. (Forex has offices around Stockholm, also at Arlanda airport.)
If you have questions about money and currency, please check the Forex website
https://www.forex.se/en/ or contact Forex [email protected]
To do:

Monday the 6th of June is a Swedish national holiday. We celebrate our National Day and
because of this many shops and services will have limited business hours or be closed.
The main celebration is at Skansen, which is our open-air museum. At Skansen you will
find EVERYTHING that is typically Swedish; Swedish food, history, culture, animals,
houses etc. You can try visiting food festival June 2-6 in Kungsträdgården in the center of
Stockholm http://www.smakapastockholm.se/english/
Please see information in Russian http://www.skansen.se/ru/kategori/russian and in
English http://www.skansen.se/ru/kategori/russian
Skansen is located on Djurgården. From the city centre you can go to Skansen by bus or
tram. The ferry goes from the Old town to the dock which is located at walking distance
from the main entrance of Skansen. The admission fee to Skansen is SEK 180.
For more info: http://www.skansen.se/en/aktivitet/swedish-national-day
His and Her Majesty the king and queen of Sweden will be at the Solidenscenen
