Knopf – Cundiff nuptials
make memorable impression

ike every bride and groom, Jennifer Knopf and Chris Cundiff
wanted a wedding that would
incorporate all the major elements of a traditional wedding
– infusing it with personal touches that would make it memorable for them and
their nearly 300 guests.
Sunshine and smiles were the order of the
day as the hustle and bustle progressed until
shortly before the ceremony was to begin. Suddenly, the bride’s father’s shoe fell apart, but
luckily, the rental company was able to rush
another pair to the church in the nick of time.
That is one thing a wedding planner doesn’t
carry in an emergency kit.
Great food and entertainment followed at
the reception. Little did anyone know that the
groom would be a part of it. He started with
some fancy footwork on the dance floor as he
launched his search for the garter. Later in the
evening, he joined the band on stage to sing a
love song, “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You,” to
his new bride (anyone have a tissue?)
Jennifer’ sister, Julie, caught the bouquet and
her date, Brian Estcorn, caught the garter. Speculating that this was pre-planned, the bride’s
father exclaimed, “Oh no, not yet.”
Needless to say, a wonderful time was had
by all.
Jennifer is the daughter of Christopher and
Karen Knopf.
Chris is the son of Peggy Cundiff and Allan
and Shelley Cundiff.
The couple honeymooned in San Diego,
Calif., and they currently reside in Louisville.
