ACTIVE VISIBILITY
The Malibu Chamber of
Commerce celebrated the
arts with the 44th Annual
Malibu Arts Festival. Staff
and Volunteers were
encouraged by happy artists
and business owners who
made sales throughout the
weekend. As soon as the
Festival concluded, Chamber
Staff surveyed all exhibitors.
Volunteers assembled to discuss the performance of the 44th event
and begin the planning process for the 45th. While 44 years is an
accomplishment, the future success of Malibu’s show depends on
strategic planning for an exhibitor’s continued benefit. I am happy
to report enthusiastic discussion and research by our planning
team to make significant improvements to this time-honored
tradition.

first double-ribbon-cutting took place on August 27th for Coco

they have captured the Malibu Business spirit and it shows.

include business essentials to money saving tips for your small
business and families. Dr. Bob Perkins addressed guests at the
Malibu Chamber Connections breakfast held at OLLO. “What
every parent should know about healthy childhood development
to lessen the need for orthodontics” was an eye-opening
experience for those in attendance.
The Malibu Chamber of Commerce will host the 16th Annual Malibu
Veterans Day Public Ceremony on November 11th at 11:00am. All
are encouraged to join us at Legacy Park for this unique
experience. The mission of this ceremony is to bring together the
local businesses, schools and organizations to commemorate the
day. The ceremony is intended to honor and thank all who served
and are serving our great Nation.
